THE MEMORIES OF SNOW ANGELS

THE MEMORIES OF SNOW ANGELS
My little boy his limbs spread wide
Lays in the snow and flaps with pride.
While angel wings and gown he makes
I see an angelic smile upon his face.
My little boy is having fun
Making angels one by one.
For every impression he leaves in the snow
Another angel says a prayer he knows.
My little boy's snow angels
May melt and be gone,
But the memory of making them
In his heart will live on.

When my boys were young, they loved the snow (just like my husband and I had when we were young) The more you could get outside in the snow, the better of a winter you would think you were having. The memories lives on, even though the love for snow has faded. As I have gotten older, the problems snow causes (the roads, the shoveling, etc...) the more I dis like the snow. However it is still Beautiful! Makes the world seem to be a much cleaner place! And I must admit, I still love the memories of my husband's and my younger years, watching and playing with our own wonderful sons. Now we enjoy watching our grandchildren... we are blessed! And we have faith in knowing that God is in control and knows what's best. So just HAVE FAITH!
I read a pretty decent, extremely easy recipe for Snow Cream it went as follows...
1 gallon of snow (or a large bowl full, use ever how much it takes for the texture you want) add:
1 can of sweetened condensed milk, and a tablespoon of vanilla extract... just mix and enjoy! Now that is easy!!! (make sure the snow is fresh and clean) and ENJOY!
Have Faith in God
Have faith in God when your pathway is lonely.

He sees and knows all the way you have trod;
Never alone are the least of His children;
Have faith in God, have faith in God.

Have faith in God when your prayers are unanswered,
Your earnest plea He will never forget;
Wait on the lord, trust His word and be patient,
Have faith in God. He'll answer yet.

Have faith in God in your pain and your sorrow,
His heart is touched with your grief and despair;
Cast all your cares and your burdens upon Him,
And leave them there, oh, leave them there.

Have faith in God though all else fall about you;
Have faith in God, He provides for His own:
He cannot fail though all kingdoms shall perish.
He rules. He reigns upon His throne.

Refrain: Have faith in God, He's on His throne,
Have faith in God, He watches over His own;
He cannot fail, He must prevail,
Have faith in God, Have faith in God.
