HEAVENLY SUNSHINE, and we are thankful!

DIDN'T YOU ENJOY THE SUN TODAY?
AH, THIS IS MORE LIKE IT!

Heavenly Sunshine

Heavenly sunshine, heavenly sunshine,

Flooding my soul with glory divine.

Heavenly sunshine, heavenly sunshine,

Hallelujah! Jesus is mine.

Oh how we needed these (little warmer) sunny days. Does my heart and soul so much good to see and actually semi feel the sun! THANK YOU GOD! Don't know about you but this is one year that I am especially looking forward to better weather! I will honestly be glad when the snow and mud have all cleared up! Anyway, it makes you feel extra thankful for the sunny days (even though the ground is still covered with snow, or mud... seems like the few places it's not snow, it's mud...) but hopefully it will all soon be over with! Hallelujah!!! ' Abby' went to church with us this morning, and wasn't quite ready for her Sunday school class yet, but she got up and gladly went on to the children's church. And thankfully she was happy when she came out.. so hopefully next week she'll even be ready for her Sunday school class (at the new church). She seems to like it a little better each time she goes. At first she told me "Grandma, I don't have any friends there" I told her, "well Sweetie, we don't go to church just to make friends, we go to worship God, and to pray and praise Him" but I agree with her, once you know a few people, it's even nicer... and a lot easier for (especially a child). But, thankfully she did good today, and we told her so. We like the church up here fine, and are liking it even better all the time.. they are just a smaller version of the church we were going to, and GOD is in both places. Our youngest son, Norman, ('Abby's' dad), and our only grandson (her brother) 'Nate' came up today for lunch and to spend a little time. We are always glad to have any of our children and grandchildren to come visit. We'll be going back to church soon, so I've got to get up and get a few things done before we go. I hope each of you have had a wonderful day, and enjoyed the sunshine.. It got up to around 56 degrees up here (in the country) today! We are even beginning to see a few muddy spots back in our driveway.. (the rest is still ice).. but, hey, it's a start! They are calling for rain tomorrow, but it beats having more snow (or at least to me it does). Ephesians 5:20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,...

Give thanks with a grateful heart

Give thanks to the Holy

One Give thanks for Has has given

Jesus Christ His son (repeat)

And now, let the weak say I am strong

Let the poor say I am rich

Because of what the Lord has done, for us

And now, let the weak say I am strong

Let the poor say I am rich

Because of what the Lord has done, for us

Give thanks, Give thanks

Father, I hold each of my friends, up to You today and every day asking for Your wonderful blessings to be bestowed upon each of them. In all sincerity, I thank You Father for Jesus, and all He has done to help us, so we could be forgiving and saved. I pray daily for You to draw us all nearer to You and to lead, guide, direct, and bless each of us spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially. Bless all those who are sick, and let them feel Your compassion, and Your healing hands upon their lives. Please, be with and protect the children from all the sicknesses of the adults, and all the abuse that adults do to, or towards the children. Be with all the soldiers (and their families) and grant them inner peace, and protect them and hold them close to You, guard their safety please Father. Please draw the leaders of our country closer to You and help them to put YOU first in all their decisions, and thus help others to become closer to You. Father, we love, worship and praise You giving You the thanks, honor, praise and glory in all things in Jesus Holy name we pray, amen.
