MEMORIES OF BETTER DAYS!

Oh, the MEMORIES OF BETTER DAYS
Say a prayer for our second son Jeff! He had a very 'painful and trying' day today.
I am sure that he can remember lots of better days!
He had our youngest son to take him to the ER today... severe back pain!
Come to find out, he had actually passed a kidney stone. After a scan and lots of questions and well, you know how it goes at the ER.. They told him that the worst of the pain was over with, and that actually the 'worst of the pain' is when the stone passes from the kidneys to the bladder... not from the bladder out! ... that sort of is a surprise! or to me it is!
Anyway thankfully he is feeling much better.. they sent him home, after quite a few hours, with a prescription and a couple of shots in his system. Hopefully he'll be well in no time, he's still young! I personally hated that I could not be there with him, his dad went on, but I was at work and we were already short handed : { I did call a number of times, and I planned on going at 1:30 when I got off, but by then he had been released. I did however say a FEW prayers in that time on his behalf. So pray with me if you will for his continued recovery and that he won't have to go through this again. I know how it is, I passed 11 a few years back! : { whew!
what a blessing when it was over with !!!!
"WHISPER A PRAYER IN THE MORNING, WHISPER A PRAYER AT NOON
WHISPER A PRAYER IN THE EVENING, TO KEEP YOUR HEART IN TUNE."
And now for another prayer request! This one for my mother, 'Betty', she went for another CT scan today. Still after over a year of taking a strong medication for a fungal infection in her lungs, she has had "very little" improvement! They are trying to take her off of some of her medications (thinking maybe that they were prohibiting the other medication from working as well as it should of, or maybe I should have said 'at all') and going to try her without them for one month, and on this one only, then going back and doing chest ex rays and possibly another CT scan to find out if that was the reason she didn't respond. She is sort of afraid of going off the other medication though because it helps her breathing. Boy when you have problems breathing, it's the pits! I have been there also this summer when I had double pneumonia and asthma , and a broken rib (from coughing) It is really "the pits".. Mom told me today that she will have to keep her oxygen ready for immediate use and stay close to home "in case".. I will add she just turned 81 years old, so keep her in your prayers also PLEASE!
I Believe in Miracles
Creation shows the power of God
There's glory all around
And those who see Him stand in awe
For miracles abound
Oh I cannot doubt the work of God
It's plain for all to see
The miracles that He has wrought
Should lead to Calvary
Chorus: Oh I believe in miracles
I've seen a soul set free
Miraculous the change in one
Redeemed through Calvary
I've seen the lily push its way
Up through the stubborn sod
Oh I believe in miracles'
Cause I believe in love
The love of God, oh power divine'
Tis wonderful to see
The miracle of grace performed
Within the heart of me
(Repeat) Chorus
