MEMORIES, OLD AND NEW: Memories of our little Dark Haired Darling

MEET 'A' MY THIRD GRANDDAUGHTER
AH, BEAUTIFUL AND SO SPECIAL TOO!

This picture was taken when she was about 2 or so..
She is a doll, for sure! With her thick dark hair and really dark eyes,
She's beautiful! (eyes and hair just like my Grandmothers).
She is 11 now, her hair is long and her Mom keeps it platted for her. It is still so dark, and thick and just beautiful... She is four years younger than her sister
and 6 weeks younger than 'Nate' her cousin! Looks like she was dancing here, but actually she was playing with 'Nate' in his cowboy hat : }
She's such a sweetheart, and seems to never forget any of the 'history' that she and her sister come up with on their Breyer horse collection. It's amazing! And they are both so smart about the types of horses and the history of each kind. They both love their horses!
"A" also likes her TY animals and her "American Girl" dolls.
She too is being home schooled by their Mommy, and doing great. She likes to read and is a good reader, that is so important these days. She's a sixth grader now, and a very smart one at that. They learn Bible verses and study from it, along with the many other things they study. Both of the girls are doing so good at school, but then I can't imagine them not giving anything they try to do their "every thing".. "A" is usually quiet spoken and follows her sisters lead most of the time. Soooo precious!
She used to love playing board games as well as computer games with her sister and me.
She would sit on my lap for an hour or more at a time at the computer so her sister could sit right beside us and play games. She liked Clue, Risk II , Sorry, and Life back when she was a little younger. Now she's into the little more graphic games I think and likes the ones that has to do with animals. When I would have a day off during the week sometimes I would pick them up and we would just spend the day together. I sure miss those days!
"A", we love you! You just don't realize how precious you are to us.
We are thankful for you and your health, happiness and safety,and for being the sweet precious child of God that you are. It shows in all you do. Thank You God for "A" and all the other grandchildren too... How great is my God!
