Memories of a Special Valentine

Meet "K" She is our oldest Granddaughter!
She is our oldest grandchild, a beautiful girl, a Christian and good hearted, totally smart girl.. she is 15 now. But this very picture still hangs on our refrigerator. We have pictures of all of them there. She and her sister are being homeschooled by their Mother, she is a good Christian lady herself, and doing a wonderful job with them. When she was younger, she liked doing things with grandma, Grandma liked it too! Here she was 'sewing' with her little 'singer' . She really enjoyed herself, but I think we enjoyed her even more. You know, your kids are SOOOO special (they were as little children, and always will be) but we always joked and said, Ah, the grandchildren, they are "EXTRA SPECIAL" We also had extra special times at the computer, camping and in the flower beds.
Proverbs 17:6 Children’s children are the crown of old men, And the glory of children is their father.
She and her sister loves the Breyer horses, and has quite an extensive collection of them. She takes pictures of them and enters them into contest, and has done really well! We are so proud of her and her lovely sister. She also has made her own websites and is a whiz at the computer, and with camera's and such. Also, she hand makes some of her bridles and such for the horses. And she has such a pure, and loving heart!
She is also good with animals in general. She can get their cats and dogs to do many things, and is gentle in training them. She is also great at walking the dogs, and someday would make a terrific vet, or an awesome rancher. She is such a blessing, with her heart of gold! We are so thankful for her, and it's just so hard to believe how quick she is growing up. God is so good!
In the next three blogs, I will introduce you to the other three of these four of our wonderful grandchildren, our special blessings. We are thankful for each of them (as well as all of our family members). Grateful for the health, happiness, safety, and love of each and every one of them. We pray daily for each of them spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially (things are so hard these days). But we all know that God is good, and He never leaves nor fails us, and daily we give Him our praise, thanks, love for everything, in the name of His only Son, Jesus Christ. Now I will close this post with a song that when "K" was ten or so, she came and sang this song to us... as one of her favorites. It honestly gave me cold chills because it was also my grandmother's favorite song! Even though I know she has more than likely had many "favorites" since then.. This one, every time I hear it, I think of the two of them..
Both special and wonderful ladies in my sight and in my heart! THANK YOU GOD FOR "K"
Amazing Grace Hymn

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The world shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun refuse to shine;
But God, who called me here below,
Shall be forever mine.
When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.
