The winds of time
A strong wind brings rain and snow. On this rugged path below.
Driven into the stormy night. Our path embraced with His light.
Through the storm he leads and guides. Our protection He provides.
He goes before
Oh, hasn't it been windy this evening? It is blowing like crazy up here.
I will be glad when it is over with! Thankfully, we still have our electric, that is a blessing for sure! I really dread loosing it, believe me, you just don't know how much you rely on it until you don't have it. Guess we are spoiled,(and loving it). But I do dread this wind, snow and cold.. my bones just really don't like any of it.
Those few warmer days was either to tease us, or to remind us that better things are yet to come! Boy will I be glad too! I saw another Robin the other morning, but poor thing, guess some car in front of me 'didn't see it in time', either that or he was tired of fighting the cold! (no, I don't believe that a robin would commit suicide, that would be crazy!) I think they love and enjoy life, as all birds do! They sing and are happy. Anyway, I am sure that those warmer days was just to let us know that there is better weather soon to come. For that, I am thankful! And anxiously waiting.
I'll leave this post tonight with a prayer for you and yours. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Jesus, and all the sacrifice He gave on our behalf. Tonight, I hold all my dear family and friends up to You, praying for their safety, health and happiness. Father please be with the soldiers and their familys, grant them comfort and inner peace, guide and protect them and draw them closer to You. Father same for our country and it's leaders, draw them closer to YOu and help them to put You first and foremost. Bless the children Lord, and keep them safe. And Father, please bless our family, extended families, our friends, neighbors and co-workers spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially. Thank You heavenly Father for all things, in Jesus Holy name I pray, amen
