READY OR NOT, HERE WE COME!!
We used to say that while playing hide and seek! But now it seems the perfect thing for all this snow we continue to have : { .... (gee, I must be getting old, the excitement of snow is gone!, especially since it's kept me out of work for four of the five days this week, without pay I might add) We did work today, Thursday (as the first day this week) but already they are saying we are off again tomorrow, school is closed due to the upcoming storm! But, I suppose we are as ready as can be for it, just praying here that all these trees continue standing tall and straight, and that the power doesn't go off! Also for safety for everyone that has to go out or be out in this snow, sleet, ice that they are expecting. We've still got many inches from the storm from earlier this week, enough so that Norman had to pull 'the little black car' up out of the drive way again this morning. Thank God for the old Trooper, it's named right : } , and we are thankful to have it. We would have just took the trooper on to work this morning, but the 'little black car' had an appointment to have it's oil changed, so that meant it had to come up out of this driveway!Work today was a mess, the kids were all excited in hopes for the snow to come and cause another cancellation...(teachers too, but then they are salary) Oh, if they only knew, it's going to take most of our Easter break, or spring break as they call it. You know it's a shame that they aren't allowed to call them Christmas and Easter breaks anymore ... no wonder things are so bad and getting worse! What could possibly be wrong with celebrating Jesus birth, then acknowledging His death and celebrating His re-birth? Without His great sacrifice, we wouldn't stand a chance at salvation, and eternity in heaven. Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. Well, for one.... no shame here! I love Him!
I love You, Lord,
and I lift my voice to worship you,
oh my soul, rejoice.
Take joy, my King,
in what You hear,
may it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your ear.
Well, I better get up off this dear computer and get my loving husband some supper. We are sort of looking forward to a quite day of cuddling up under the covers and watching some old westerns together... Might as well make the best of it. I know he will be glad when the weather breaks so he can get out and get a few things done... but, until then, we might as well enjoy the time we have together. Time is precious and go so quickly!

Praying here for each of you to have a wonderful break, full of love and safety. Also praying for the people that we learned this week that found out their cancer returned.. "God bless, heal and comfort please and grant them inner peace" (has to be scary!) . And praying for those that have lost loved ones... it's got to be hard! again, "God bless and comfort please!" We are thankful for our precious family, and the health, love, safety, and happiness of each, also thankful for all of our many blessings, each and every one. Praying for spiritual, physical, emotional, and financial help for each and every one of our family, extended family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and church family's... Father, thank You for all things in Jesus holy name, amen.
Enjoy whatever God has in store for us, He has plans of His own. We only have to trust Him and just "let go, and let God" Love and prayers always, Patty
