SNOW ON THE TREES, again
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Wow, we have so much snow out here again. My poor husband is out there now trying to at least dig out to his Trooper and clear the porches and such. He also has to make Homer a place to 'go'. Poor Homer gets covered with ice balls every time he tries to go outside, bless his little heart. As 'Abby' and 'Nate' always says, "his legs are so S.H.O.R.T." careful not to say the word, they spell it, saying it would hurt his feelings if they actually called him short : } ... Kids!
Once again, Norman is going to pay one of his nephew's to plow the drive way. Hopefully this snow is pretty much over with! From the looks of it, we will have snow still on the ground until about July. And they are calling for more snow on Tuesday. Gee : {
Norman and I were wondering the other day what became of the 10 or 12 Robin redbreast that we saw a month or more ago, down at Western Sizzlin. Poor things probably are squawking at the 'leader' wondering why in the world he lead them back to Covington so soon!! God Bless and protect all of them please. I look forward to the time that they are here, actually celebrating the GOOD, WARMER WEATHER! How about you? Again, I'll admit that the snow is lovely! Bright, clean, and everything is so white... perhaps some would call it pure looking.. but it is still cold, and messy, and harder to get around by far! But again, we have to Have Faith in God! ... And hopefully do a better job of trying not to complain than I have. Soo Sorry!
Have faith in God,
He's on His throne.
Have faith in God,
He watches o'vr His own.
He will prevail
He cannot fail
Have faith in God,
Have faith in God!
With that, here's wishing you a healthy, happy, safe weekend, no matter who or where you are.
Remember that you are special... God created each of us as different as the many snowflakes, and has plans for each of us. So until next time, love and prayers from one of God's children to another, stay safe, stay sweet.. and stay close to Him!
