How precious are the memories

Back to work today. School was 2 hours late again today, due to the cold weather.. but that don't effect us (in the cafeteria). We have to get there early enough to get the meals cooked/ baked and ready for the kids. Anyway, I didn't have to go in until 10:30 today, so Norman and I enjoyed the little extra 'cuddle time' this morning while we snuck in a little nap before we got up! That is what the boy's used to tell me when they were young (if they happened to sleep in a little while) "Mommy, I took my nap before I got up!" How precious are the memories of our three sons, and our foster son (who was taken from our lives way to early). And our three sons all grew up so quickly! Seems like time just flies when they are young.
Thankfully Saturday we got our inside Christmas decorations taken down and packed away. Now we just have the outside decorations to deal with, once all the snow is gone and the weather is warmer. Hopefully soon! I do love Christmas time, but once it's over.. I am ready to get on with spring and summer!!!
I had recently planted some irises, hope all this snow hasn't ruined them. But, God knows what He's doing, we just have to trust Him and His wisdom. After all, He created it all, so He knows what it needs... as well as what we need, and provides it all! He is such a loving God and Father.
I surely hope to be able to do more this summer than last. Last summer, I very truthfully didn't feel hardly like getting off the couch. And that's not good! I am getting old, but not that old! Thankfully the two grandchildren that stayed with me during the day time during the summer was good as gold. I told them many times that I appreciated it too! They were so precious, even to the point to run and get me a drink of water, or a tissue when I would take a coughing spell.
They would sit there and wait until I was over coughing, then ask "Grandma, are you okay?"
"Or don't worry Grandma, you'll be okay!" Ah, to have the faith of a child!

Have Faith In God
Have faith in God when your pathway is lonely.
He sees and knows all the way you have trod;
Never alone are the least of His children;
Have faith in God, have faith in God.

Have faith in God when your prayers are unanswered,
Your earnest plea He will never forget;
Wait on the lord, trust His word and be patient,
Have faith in God. He'll answer yet.

Have faith in God in your pain and your sorrow,
His heart is touched with your grief and despair;
Cast all your cares and your burdens upon Him,
And leave them there, oh, leave them there.

Have faith in God though all else fall about you;
Have faith in God, He provides for His own:
He cannot fail though all kingdoms shall perish.
He rules. He reigns upon His throne.

Refrain:
Have faith in God, He's on His throne,
Have faith in God, He watches over His own;
He cannot fail, He must prevail,
Have faith in God, Have faith in God.
