OH FOR A THOUSAND TONGUES TO SING

I HAVE BEEN SO THANKFUL FOR THESE WARMER DAYS, HAVEN'T YOU?

AND THE SNOW IS PRETTY MUCH GONE, (even up here)!! AWESOME!

As I was walking up the long driveway this morning to the car,

I did hear the birds singing. Does wonders for my heart!

Even the birds are thanking God for the warmer weather! I too am GRATEFUL!

I talked to Mom this evening, bless her heart, she's so worried about getting her flower beds cleaned out that she said she would go work on them a few minutes today, then go turn the oxygen on and sit under it for a while... then back to the flower bed. Guess it's plain ole "determination"! I told her she could wait until I can get there to help her, and she said she just couldn't let these pretty days go by. (I have a sinus infection, and really don't want to risk sharing it with her, and besides I had to work today from 8 until 2:30) She said it makes her feel good inside to get things done outside and enjoy the warmer weather.... what could I say, I enjoy it myself. But anyway, I am glad that her insides feels good, because she was still having problems (breathing) thus talking.. "GOD BLESS" and she told me she got up at 4:44 this morning with her legs hurting beyond control, and two pain tablets later they still "hadn't let up"... I dread thinking what they may be like tonight, after her working outside off and on all day.

She also told me that my brother JW (that needed the back surgery, on March 31) was blown away today. He went to his neuro-surgeon today in Roanoke, and was told that he should go back to work as an ER nurse on the 11... : / he was SHOCKED! But then the doctor told him that he thought to operate on him was more like opening up a can of NAILS, than a can of worms... and was afraid that he would never get decent results from any surgery, "so he just needed to go back and try to work"... then Mom told me that JW told her that he just didn't know how he could work in a body brace, that he has to wear to keep from being doubled over! So, please keep him in your prayers. He's in a lot of pain, and right now really confused. He had hoped so much that the surgery would make a world of difference. He loves his job but he is confused as to how he can actually work it with a body brace on, and knows at this point that he cannot work it without the body brace.. GOD BLESS! Pray for him please!

WELL, IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW IT, ACCORDING TO THE CALENDAR

SPRING BEGINS ON THE 20th. AND TODAY IS THE 8th. SO IT'S CLOSER THAN WE MAY THINK... "I HOPE THAT MEANS WARMER WEATHER WILL BE HERE TO STAY ALSO' RATHER THAN JUST TO MEAN THAT THE CALENDAR SAYS IT'S SPRING. THANK YOU GOD!!!

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Jesus and the total wonders of Your love!

Thank You for the warmer weather, and the hope of warmer, easier days that stand ahead. Thank You for our family, our extended family, our church family (both old and new) , our friends, neighbors and co-workers. Help us please to set an example of Your love for others so that they may be drawn closer to You.

Please bless each of us spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially. Thank You God for the birds singing, we so much enjoy them!

Father, we give You all the thanks, our love, praise, honor and glory in Jesus Holy name, amen.
