TO MY SURPRISE, I COULD NOT FIND 30 SILVER DOLLARS
(NO, I am not talking about the pure silver ones, just plain ole silver dollars
where did they all go?? )
I had a bright idea that IF, I had a poem that I 'sort of liked' that would FIT the reason I was wanting it, that I would place 30 silver dollars (with a poem) in a small bag and place it in the collection plate on Easter Sunday! Well friends, I didn't find the 30 pc of silver like I wanted, and I called myself writing a 'poem of such' to use... but now without the silver : { I won't even do it!But I wanted to share the poem (of sorts) with you!
THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER I'LL GLADLY GIVE
30 pieces of silver
I gladly will give
In honor of Jesus
And the price paid for Him.
They sold my dear Savior
And betrayed Him that day
For 30 pieces of silver
They took Jesus life.
Jesus gave His life for me
And He gave it for you
That one day we'll live again
For eternity with Him.
Thank You for loving us
As much as You do
Help us to live for You
As You would have us to
Father, we beg for Your mercy
So we'll live close to You
We praise You our Father
Love and honor You too
30 pieces of silver
I gladly will give
In honor of Jesus
I am so glad that He lives.

Our satellite dish was off in never never land yesterday, just going so slow and lights kept flashing that would now allow us to use it.. so that is why I didn't get it on there yesterday ; { how aggravating!
Thankfully 'Nate' and 'Abby' came up and spent the night with us on Friday night. 'Nate' went home on Saturday, but 'Abby' stayed for church today. We went ahead and let her wear her Easter 'stuff' today since she won't get to go next Sunday (because of the Easter bunny, her parents rightfully like them there with them on such occasions) But we do appreciate them sharing them as much as they do.
Please pray for Norman, he has been feeling bad ever since Thursday. He may have caught whatever NJ had last week, but thankfully not as severe. Ugg, I hate the thoughts of catching it!
Lord, please accept our humble thanks and praise for all You have done for us. Thank You for Jesus, and all the sacrifice He made in our behalf. Thank You Father for loving, forgiving, and saving us, and Jesus for making a way so that we can spend eternity with You. Thank You God for Norman (please help him to feel better, and not pass that illness along to others). Thank You for our family, our extended families, our church families (both old and new), our friends, neighbors and co-workers. Please help us to love them the way You would have us to. Father, thank You for each of our lives, health and safety. Bless each of us please spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially, and with inner peace and continued health and safety. Be with all the soldiers, and their families and grant them protection, inner peace, and comfort. Father, also be with our country and help, lead, guide and direct our leaders and draw them all closer to You and help them get this country back putting You first, and in Your favor and graces. Thank You Father for everything, and we give You our love, respect, honor, praise and glory in Jesus Holy name, amen.
Again, I would like to remind you that you are more than welcome to place a comment on this post, or any post in my blog. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, have a terrific day, and GOD BLESS!
