MEMORIES OF BETTER DAYS

Have you ever had one of those days when nothing went right?
Boy today was that day for me.. First I didn't sleep well last night, tossed and turned all night.. dreaming all kinds of crazy stuff. Where does those thoughts come from? Then today, I got up later than usual for work. I rushed first and put on my coffee, fed the cat and dog, gave them both fresh water. Then I ran to get dressed. Khaki pants (ah yes, I have a pair with the elastic waistband), and a yellow tee shirt, and then the works starting with deodorant of course. : } Grabbed my medicine, then poured me a cup of coffee and sat and drank it as quickly as possible. Got my water for the day out of the frig, then off I went. Well, I noticed when I was almost there that I had on one of each of two pairs of shoes. Oh my, I didn't have time to go back (since we live a ways up in the country, or seems like it!) WELL, I thought.. at least they are both black and both tie ups.. maybe no one will notice. Then to make matters worse, I got behind a couple of people that must have been dreading going where ever they were headed, if they would have went any slower.. their headlights would have fell off! Geez, finally I am there! First I realized that I had forgotten my phone when I came to the gate (I usually just call the office and they lift the gate) but this morning (of all mornings) I had to get out of the car and walk to the other side and ring for service.. Finally, now let me get on around here! Then I went up to the kitchen door, OH NO! I forgot my badge (it's a name tag with a strip on it that opens the doors for us).. so I had to ring the bell... Please don't notice my shoes I was thinking!!! Then I went on in and got my hairnet out of my locker, put my pocket book in and shut it. Went in the kitchen and put on my apron.. WHAT? OH NO! I had my pants on inside outwards, my pockets hanging on the outside. My, the girls noticed it about the same time I did.. So, embarrassed as I was I just chuckled and said, good thing they are still really clean ; ) and went to the restroom and turned them around : / ... What else is going to go wrong! You guessed it!
About that time, the alarm clock went off and woke me up! Thank You God!!! I was having another crazy dream! Norman had his the night before.. And the silliest is yet to come... I hope you had a lovely APRIL FOOLS DAY! If I got you on all that mess, or even part of it... then maybe mine wasn't so bad either ; ) Actually it wasn't a bad day at all, even today at work went rather sooth! The weather was beautiful, and we got to spend some time with two of our lovely granddaughters. They are so special, sweet and precious, THANK YOU GOD! And another good thing is that I'm off now for the next five days for Easter break! And we got a lot done today and even went to a special service this evening. Thank You Lord!
Lighten up, and Smile, it's good for you, and everyone around you.
Proverbs 28:26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
My All In All
You are my strength when I am weak,
You are the treasure that I seek,
You are my all in all
Seeking you as a precious jewel,
Lord, to give up I'd be a fool,
You are my all in all
Jesus, Lamb of God,Worthy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God,Worthy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God,Worthy is Your name
Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. - Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) "God is real." This child's words challenged me. Because God is real, I can believe in the Bible. Because God is real, I can trust; I have nothing to fear. God will be faithful to hear my prayers and to meet my every need.
Always remember to forget The things that made you sad.But never forget to remember The things that made you glad.Always remember to forget The friends that proved untrue. But never forget to remember Those that have stuck by you.Always remember to forget The troubles that passed away. But never forget to remember The blessings that come each day.
May your neighbors respect you,Trouble neglect you,The angels protect you,And Heaven accept you.
May God be with you and bless you,May you see your children's children,May you be poor in misfortune, rich in blessings.May you know nothing but happiness From this day forward.

FLORIDA COURT SETS ATHEIST HOLY DAY
In Florida, an atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.
The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring,"Case dismissed!"
The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, How can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays.."
The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."
The lawyer said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."
The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that, if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. And Ecclesiastes 4:5 says: "The fool folds his hands and ruins himself." Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned." ; You gotta love a Judge that knows his scripture!
And I thought this child's innocent remarks sort of finishes off this email
hope you enjoy it! (thanks Joann for sending it to me)
