BOY, I REMEMBER THE DAYS

WHEN I HAD A MUCH BIGGER YARD TO MOW, PHEW!

Actually the yard was smaller, but up here most of our property is trees! White oak to be exact! And very little grassy yard. But it sure tried to get ahead of us this year, already. But we got the grassy back yard done this evening, thankfully!---------------- I realized that our yard, and patio is a MESS! And we plan on doing some every evening towards cleaning up. Gee, it's so easy to get behind, isn't it? Well, for us it is! And quite frankly some evenings, after working in the heat and steam all day, I just want to kick back... but then that is what has happened so far. SO, we are going to get busy, and stay as busy as possible until it looks much better around here! PRAY FOR US, PLEASE!============

To start with, I was supposed to work for three hours today, but one of the ladies missed yet again today, so I got called in 2 and 1/2 hours earlier. FINE WITH ME! THANK YOU GOD FOR THE EXTRA TIME. But, they had the heat on, of all things, and WOW, was it HOT IN THERE! First I had to help cook, then do breakfast trays (aprox. 300) , then help serve, then lunch trays (around 500) plus the steam pans, and everything else used to prepare and serve with. THAT HEAT JUST MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE GOING TO MELT! (but I am still fluffy,ha) Then I ran home, cleaned up and got into cooler clothes, picked up my husband/best friend.. and off to Wally World we went. I had to get the ribbon to finish those wedding flowers, plus a few other things. I am so used of Norman going with me, that I hate going without him, and he's so used to going, and thankfully don't mind going, and don't mind shopping, that he's glad to go with me! GOOD FELLA! THANKS BABE!

Then we went home and had a good cold bottle of water, and started mowing. I was using my old time'y reel type mower that Norman J gave us last year.. ah, no gas, no sheering pins, no pulling on the rope, no keeping it running.. so much easier for me! Thanks Norman, I really like it! And Norman was using his weed eater. We got done all that we intended on getting done for tonight. THANKFULLY! THANKS GOD FOR THE ENERGY AND HEALTH!

When we came in we ate supper and Norman is sitting there snoring through another tv program, and I am sitting here at the computer. Still trying hard to figure out all the differences and how to deal with them. Again, thanks Norman J for hooking up the computer tower and down loading some of my stuff off of the old one. You are so smart!

I saw one of the little boys that used to be in my day care. I had him from diapers and bottles to the point of him starting school and us moving. He told me today 'Drandma' I want to come to your house" for some reason he always called me "drandma" or "Drandma Patty" and called Norman "Dad-dad" It was right sweet of him today! He's a cute little boy, and getting so tall! He was such a good little boy, I could take him anywhere. One day we stopped at Mcdonalds and I ask him what he wanted, (his reply was) "a crabby pattie" (like on Sponge Bob) the lady there laughed and told one of her co-workers.. Kids are something else!

guess I'd better run and get my bath and things ready for me to work tomorrow, our school/work year is running out pretty quickly on us : { ... guess then after a week or two I am going to see if I can find something to do to help out through the summer. Pray for us, please and thank you.

Dear God, thank You for all You do. Thank You for Jesus and Your perfect love, grace, mercies, blessings and for forgiving and saving us. Thank You for Norman and our family, our extended families, our church families, our friends, neighbors and co-workers. Bless each of us please SPIRITUALLY, physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, and with inner peace, safety, and satisfaction. Help us please to love and forgive others and to live pleasingly to You. Bless our country please and guide our leaders in the way You would have them to go. Help our country to get back to You please and thank You. Father, we give You our love, honor, thanks, praise and glory in Jesus Holy name, amen.
