NO, HE ISN'T ANY OF THE DOGS BELOW, BUT HE'S A VERY LOVING, CLEAN AND SWEET DOG, AND WE LOVE HIM!

(but I thought you would get a kick out of the story below!)

My Dog Is Brilliant!

Four men were bragging about how smart their dogs were. One man was an engineer, the second man was an accountant, the third man was a chemist, and the fourth was a government worker.

To show off, the engineer called to his dog. "T-square, do your stuff." T-square trotted over to a desk, took out some paper and a pen, and promptly drew a circle, a square, and a triangle.Everyone agreed that that was pretty smart.The accountant said that his dog could do better. He called to his dog and said, "Spreadsheet, do your stuff." Spreadsheet went out into the kitchen and returned with a dozen cookies. He divided them into four equal piles of three cookies each.Everyone agreed that that was good. The chemist said that his dog could do better still. He called to his dog and said, "Measure, do your stuff." Measure got up, walked over to the fridge, took out a quart of milk, got a ten-ounce glass from the cupboard, and poured exactly eight ounces without spilling a drop.Everyone agreed that that was pretty impressive.Then the three men turned to the government worker and said, "What can your dog do?"The government worker called to his dog and said, "Coffee Break, do your stuff." Coffee Break jumped to his feet, ate the cookies, drank the milk, claimed he had injured his back while doing so, filed a grievance report for unsafe working conditions, put in for workers' compensation, and went home for the rest of the day on sick leave.

They all agreed that that was brilliant!

Don't know about you, but I am thankful that it is Friday! And it's a sunny, warm one at that.. (come on, don't fuss about the heat, remember all that snow this past winter?) Just try to enjoy! The best part is, my work day is finished, I've been to the grocery story already, and now I am home, ready to kick back for just a little while before I get busy again! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, well, hopefully we will all have a blessed weekend.

18 MORE DAYS ONLY, TO WORK THIS SCHOOL YEAR!

AND IT'S GOING FAST!!!

guess they are trying to get me used to 'making' even less.. (like I need that!) I was not scheduled to work any full days this week, but lucked out and got called in on Monday! "ouch!!!, all of these short days hurt" And only scheduled to work 2 more full days the rest of the month : { "OUCH!!!" And then we'll only have 8 days in June to work, and I doubt if hardly any of them will be full days .. (I work every day, but the full days is what counts up the most, and we get few of them) So still keep Barb and I in your prayers, for a better year next year, hopefully full time with benefits, LORD'S WILLING! And thank You for your prayers!

Norman has been out running the weed eater today, bless his heart. The sad thing is that I was in such a hurry to get home, that I didn't even notice. I think it disappointed him that I didn't, and I'm sorry. I was just rushing home because he had to go meet Shane today, and his time was running near, so I wanted to give him something to eat before he left. Some days, you can't win for loosing! I surely didn't mean to make his effort seem any less than they were, I KNOW, it was a lot of work.

Nathan just called, wanting to have a third Friday sleepover in a row.. I don't mind because they are good. But I told them that they HAVE to go to bed earlier tonight because Norman has to get up early to help Chris tomorrow. And that means to be quiet, and go on to sleep!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for everything You do. Thank You for Jesus and His love and sacrifice for us. Thank You for Your perfect love, mercies, grace, and blessings. We love You Lord! Father, I thank You for Norman (and our love, health, and closeness) thank You for our loving family, our extended families, our church families, our friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Bless each of us please SPIRITUALLY, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially, and with inner peace, happiness and safety. Touch Leisa, Mom and Carole and lead the doctors to doing what it is that they need done, and bless them with a speedy recovery, please. Father, bless, guide and protect our country and direct the leaders as You would have them to lead.
