A PINK WHAT?

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A PINK DOG?
WELL, I DON'T THINK THAT I WANT TO!
but hey, it's Monday, so I thought you would get a chuckle out of this
The Stumpy Pink Dog!
A guy walks into a bar with his dog on a leash, and the barman says, "Geez, that's a weird dog: he's stumpy-legged, pink, and doesn't have a tail, but I bet my Rottweiler would beat the heck out of it."Fifty bucks is laid down. Out in the yard, the Rottweiler gets mauled to pieces.Another drinker says his Pit Bull will win, but the bet is 100 bucks. Another trip to the yard and, when it's all over, there are bits of Pit Bull Terrier all over the place. The drinker pays up and says, "Say, what breed is that anyway?"The owner says, "Until I cut his tail off and painted it pink, it was the same breed as every other alligator."

Well, another Monday came and pretty much has gone! Another early morning call to work. They called me at 7:18 to be there at 8:00 this morning. But, again I am grateful for the extra hours, so I went. We only have 17 more days to work this school year. PRAY FOR US, PLEASE!

Hasn't it been another rainy day? Boy, seemed like it rained all night and all day! BUT, it sure beats the snow!!! "I am not forgetting all that snow this past winter, wow, it was A LOT! Especially to a warm weather person! Notice I said WARM, not hot, ha, I guess I am just a mediocre person when it comes to weather... warm not cold, warm not hot!!! HA
But, anyway, my point was.. on days like today (if you can't sleep in for a little while, or kick back and watch ole westerns with your best friend, {mine is Norman} .. but when I am given the chance to work, or even go in early.. I do! And am thankful for the time.
Thanks God for the extra hours.. please bless Barbara and I with full time for next year, (with benefits) "if it be Your will" please and thank You.

We did run back to town this afternoon and got a few more tomato plants, and a couple of pepper plants. Both places we intended on checking for plants were closed, so we got some at Walmarts and some at Kmarts.. they will do, Lord's willing ;=) " right Brother John" ha..

Please pray for my Mom, she told me just a while ago that she has to have cataract surgery on her big dark brown eyes on Thursday, well one of them this week. She didn't even realize that she had them (in both eyes) until the eye doctor told her today. Of course she will have one done at a time... Ha, she said she thought her vision being a little fuzzy was just from being old, or that her television set is "getting some age on it" ! (she's 81 as of January) She wasn't sure but I think they usually do the surgeries about a week or maybe two apart, barring any problems. God bless, protect and help with her healing please and thank You.

And keep Leisa in your prayers also. Bless her heart, she's had a few uncomfortable weeks now! I will be glad when things are all taken care of and much better for her! God Bless and Heal her too, please and thank You.

THE HEALER
Lord, You are the healer

You keep every vow
Oh Blessed soul redeemer
Reach out and touch them now
Lord, You are the healer
I believe it's for today
I know that you can heal them
I receive it by faith Lord,
You are the healer
Oh please don't pass them by
Yes, you can make them better
I know you hear my cry
Now in the name of Jesus
comes power from on high
Lord, You're the greatest healer
I entrust you with my life, Lord,
You are the healer
Oh bright and morning star
I thank you for this feeling
That flows right from your heart
I will always Love you
And I will sing your praise
Lord, You are our healer
And I like it that way Lord,
You are the healer
Written, musical score, and sung by singer/songwriter Gary Matthews

Speaking of needing healed, but it's really a minor thing.. but it still HURT
I mashed my thumb today between the two doors of the warming cabinet at work...
Immediately the thumb nail turned a deep purple, and was bloody to boot! OUCH!
