AH, SUMMERTIME

AH, SUMMERTIME
THANK YOU GOD!

Summer is a wonderful time with lush and lovely flowers

God's sprinkling system sends heavenly raindrop showers

Bee's pollinate the flowers and make honey

Birds feed their young and chirp when they're hungry

Gardner's and farmers cultivate their flowers and crops

Evening bunnies romp and certain eves have moonlit props

Each and every season God's new miracles begin

In all God's creations we can see Christ within

Miraculous gift of life even in the smallest detail

Whether it's a huge tree or in a tiny snail

Veins in the leaves, petals of flowers

Winding creeks and wondrous tomorrows

Hot humid days to swim in ponds

Trickling water sounds, Taste the berries

Scent that carries

All in summertime.

Jesus said to them, I have shown you many great miracles from the Father.

John 10:32

NORMAN AND LEISA TOOK NATHAN & ABIGAIL
CAMPING TO JOIN IN WITH THEIR GREAT GRANDMA,
GENE, THEIR GREAT AUNT JENNA AND HER GRANDDAUGHTER
SERAIYE, AND JENNA'S FRIEND EVELYN (GOD BLESS AND
HELP EVELYN , WITH HER SERIOUS,
POSSIBLY FATAL HEALTH ISSUE, PLEASE AND THANK YOU)
I AM GLAD TO SEE THEM ALL GET OUT AND SPEND
PRECIOUS "TIME" TOGETHER! AND TO ENJOY THE
SUMMER BREAK WITH THE KIDS!
BLESS THEM ALL WITH A LOVELY CAMPING TRIP,
TERRIFIC MEMORIES, LOVE AND SAFETY.
BLESS LEISA TOO PLEASE WITH GOOD NEWS ABOUT
HER 'UPCOMING' SURGERY ONCE SHE RETURNS HOME.
THANK YOU FATHER.
-------------------------------------
We got up this morning right early, had to have the oil changed
at 8:00 in 'the little black car'. We are blessed to have it,
but would have been extra happy to have just had the van
back with a long lasting transmission!
Guess it wasn't meant to be. So we will remain thankful
for the 'little black car'. And do whatever we need to do
(hopefully) to keep it around and running well for the next
20 or 30 years : ) Lord's willing! THANKS GOD
-----------------------------
Then for a lovely time getting some groceries...
Once again we got home, only to find out that one of
the things we bought was still at Walmarts! ; (
Don't know how many times that will happen
before we start double checking! : / Anyway, I called and
ask if the cashier had turned it in, NO! but she said
to bring in my receipt! THANKS! I APPRECIATE IT.
EVEN THOUGHT IT WAS A $6.48 ITEM, IT WAS OUR $6.48
It was chicken breast for a Sunday dinner, for chicken fingers.
I know, PICKY, PICKY~ SORRY!
----------------------------
Then we stopped by and saw two of our lovely granddaughters,
Kayla and Anna.. we didn't stay, they are still doing school.. (they
home school, and Lily is doing a wonderful job with them) ..
Like I said, I only ran up, got some hugs, spoke to them for a minute
and left, don't interupt their school time! And I am glad
to say they are VERY, VERY SMART, SWEET, POLITE, LOVING,
NOT TO EVEN MENTION BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED !
They are so sweet so it's always great to see them, even if
only for a minute! I needed some hugs and sweet smiles.
-------------------------------
Then on back home. Now we have a little car full (it don't' take much
to fill our car, or to run the grocery bill way up) of groceries to carry in
and put away. We are grateful for every one of
them, so is Missy and Homer... (not to say we were starving, ha..
all four of us could go without a week or two and not be hurt any) ha.
But Still Thankful! .... And looking at the garden now, we have 5
count them 1-2-3-4-5 tomatoes almost all the way RIPE!
Not huge! But I am sure they will be DELICIOUS just the same.
Anyway, WE ARE THANKFUL FOR THEM!
This 'HEAVENLY SUNSHINE' is really getting them to
ripen up! THANK YOU GOD!!!!
