We didn't do much of anything today.

To be honest, he didn't feel good all day.

But, nothing wrong with wishing him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

And Nathan and Abigail came up

for the evening and tonight.

Abigail called and told me that she

had something 'special for Granddaddy'

That she had been saving for a while for

6 dimes and 4 pennies

(so he can put it in the little birthday

church in Sunday School on Sunday)

SWEET! ISN'T IT?

Last week I took two or three pictures of

him in his much earlier years to church,

and they will post them on the over head

board on Sunday before Sunday school, and before

Church starts too. They are so cute : )

When I was a child my family was so poor

that the only thing I got on my birthday

was a year older

Here's another one of those great birthday jokes:
A man asked his wife, "What would you most like

for your birthday?" She said, "I'd love to be ten again."

On the morning of her birthday, he got her up

bright and early and they went to a theme park.

He put her on every ride in the park - the Death Slide,

The Screaming Loop, the Wall of Fear.

She had a go on every ride there was. She staggered

out of the theme park five hours later, her head reeling

and her stomach turning. Then the were off to a movie

theater where they ate popcorn and sweets and

drank Cola. At last she staggered home with

her husband and collapsed into bed.
Her husband leaned over and asked, "Well, dear,

what was it like being ten again?" One eye opened and

she groaned, "Actually, honey, I meant dress size!"
Q. What was the average age of a cave man?

A. Stone Age!
Q. What goes up and never comes down?

A. Your age!
Q. What party game do rabbits like to play?

A. Musical Hares!
Q. What did the bald man say when he got a

comb for his birthday? A. Thanks. I'll never part with it!
Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional.
It's not about age, it's about attitude.

once he's feeling better.

Dear God we thank You for Jesus, and His sacrifice for us.

Thank You for all of Your unchanging love, mercies, grace,

blessings, forgiveness, and salvation. Thank You for the

freedoms we have so that we can openly praise and worship

you. Bless each person above please and draw them all

closer to You, let them all FEEL Your precious love .

Thank You for Norman, our lives, health, safety, love,

closeness, and marriage. Thank You for our precious family

and the love we share. Thank You for our extended families,

our church families, our friends, neighbors, and co-workers.

Bless each of us please, spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally,

and financially and with inner peace, safety and happiness.

Bless the soldiers please and protect them, grant them and their

families (Jody) with inner peace and happiness. Bless our country

please and guide our leaders. Help everyone to KNOW that You

are GOD, and still in CONTROL. Thank You Father for all You do

and we give You our love, thanks, honor, praise and glory in Jesus
