OH FRIEND,

I AM EVER SO THANKFUL FOR THE NICE DAYS!

(dreading winter coming, sad to say.. but grateful for each day the Lord

has in store for us.. THANKS GOD)

I THINK AUTUMN IS A LOVELY TIME OF THE YEAR!!

AND THE TREES ARE GETTING ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

FRIENDSHIPS

Friendships come and Friendships go Like wave upon the sand
Like day and night Like birds in flight Like snowflakes when they land
But you and I are something else Our friendship's here to stay

A friend is a person to laugh and cry with,An inspiration,
Someone who lends a helping hand,though friends may not be forever,
And they may not end up together,the memories of a true friendship

will last forever. A friend is not a shadow nor a servant
But someone who holds a piece of a person in his heart.
Someone who shares a smile,Someone who brightens up your day

The Lost Purse
As the bus pulled away, I realized I had left my purse under
the seat. Later I called the company and was relieved that the
driver had found my bag. When I went to pick it up, several
off-duty bus drivers surrounded me. One man handed me my
pocketbook, two typewritten pages and a box containing the
contents of my purse. "We're required to inventory lost wallets
and purses," he explained. "I think you'll find everything there."
As I started to put my belongings back into the pocketbook,
the man continued, "I hope you don't mind if we watch.
Even though we all tried, none of us could fit everything
into your purse. And we'd like to see just how you do it."

THEY SAY THE SAME THING ABOUT MINE,
OR "HOW MANY DISHES ARE IN THE KITCHEN SINK THAT
YOU CARRY IN YOUR PURSE?" OR LAUGH ABOUT "HOW MUCH
IT WEIGHS"
(and thankfully I bought me a new purse at a yard sale today
for only a few bucks : ) now that is a bargain)

Yes, the two of us and Abigail went to a few yard sales today.
We had gotten up early to go to Nathan's "make-up football game,
and was surprised when Abigail called her Mommy to bring her a jacket,
and we were told it had again been postponed ?????
So, we just went to some yard sales before we went over to Moms.

We were surprised that my Brother John, his wife Joni and daughter
Ashley and Jenna's daughter Cassie and her daughter were there.
It is great for Mom to keep seeing each of her children and grandchildren,
she loves it! And we, Jenna, Cassie and her precious little one, Ashley, and
myself got Mom's camper cleaned out (something she had worried about
for a couple of weeks, but we didn't want to do it in the rain) and so far
our times together just had not been right... So, thankfully another
of her wishes has been finished... Mom was really glad that it was done.

She still feels some better if only she can take her little "power naps"
as soon as she takes her pain meds.. If we can just get her still enough,
and the surroundings quite enough to allow her to rest.. We do try!
And we are thankful for her rest, and the little boost that her naps gives
her. THANK YOU GOD!
She has been having LOTS of company lately, and she loves every
person that comes.. "THANKS AND GOD BLESS"
She told me yesterday that family and friends is so much more
important to her than the naps and rest, no matter how
much she needs them or how important they are : )

Pray for her neighbor Garland, he is much younger..
but seems to be terminally ill also. He's got a feeding tube,
and just not doing very well at all.
And pray for his family as well... thank you.

AND THE SPARKS AND EVERYONE THAT HAS LOST LOVED ONES,
PLEASE GRANT THEM COMFORT.. BLESS OUR COUNTRY PLEASE
AND HELP EVERY ONE TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE GOD AND STILL
FULLY IN CONTROL. THANK YOU FATHER FOR EVERYTHING THAT
YOU DO, WE GIVE YOU OUR LOVE, THANKS, HONOR, PRAISE AND
