THANK YOU GOD FOR THE WEEKENDS!please help us to make the best of them.

we had planned on going home a lot earlier tonight..
because I have a sinus problem or cold or something of the sorts
nothing major or important, just "stopped up"
..but it just didn't work out..
I'm not complaining, not one bit!
... due to the reason we didn't make it home..
We were talking about leaving, but then Jenna
told me.. "oh, you can't go, Mom said today (a couple of times)
that you were going to make her some potato soup and
dumplings for supper tonight!
So, I did!
She is so thankful for some of the "oddest" things..
"ho cakes", corn bread, loves her sweets,
and her cream cycle was a delight to her??
Go figure! How precious, and will make for some
special memories for each of us that share them.

My sister Betty Jo and her husband Timmy came in tonight,
and Jenna was there (at Mom's) and Cassie was there with her
daughter, Jeff (our son) and Abigail (our granddaughter)
Mom's preacher's wife and two children, Abigail and Nathan
Abigail (age 6) said a precious prayer on Mom's behalf..
she calls her Mrs Betty!
and of course Mom and Gene.. and thankfully you could
feel the love there also! "THANKS GOD"

Jenna, Betty Jo and Cassie are staying
with Mom again this weekend..
(and John just spent a couple of nights there,
Joey too has been there a good bit)
THANKS EVERYBODY!
Seems like even though the circumstances are
'rough', it is bringing us closer to each other..
And, I think that is a really good thing,
and so does Mom..

FAMILIES, OUR CHURCH FAMILIES (AND EACH PRAYER SAID
ON OUR FAMILIES BEHALF) OUR FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS.
FATHER, PLEASE BE WITH BARBARA'S MOTHER AND BROTHER
(BOTH SEEM TO BE VERY ILL).. BE WITH MOM, EVELYN AND EVERYONE
WITH SEVERE ILLNESSES, AND THEIR FAMILIES. BLESS AND
COMFORT EACH, YET YOUR WILL BE DONE, ALWAYS.
FATHER WE ASK THAT YOU BLESS EACH PERSON ABOVE SPIRITUALLY,
