THINGS DIVINE
These are the things I hold divine: My heavenly Father,our Lord and God divine!
A trusting child's hand laid in mine, Rich brown earth and wind-tossed trees,
The taste of grapes and the drone of bees, A rhythmic gallop, long June days, A rose-hedged lane and lovers' lay, 
The welcome smile on neighbors' faces, Cool, wide hills and open places, Breeze-blown fields and silver rye, The wild, sweet note of the plover's cry, Fresh spring flowers and scent of box, The soft pale tint of the garden phlox, Lilacs blooming, a drowsy noon, Rolling Meadows and storm-washed heights, 
A fountain murmur on summer nights, A dappled fawn in the forest hush, Simple words and the song of thrush, Rose-red dawns and a mate to share, With comrade soul my gypsy fare, A waiting fire when the twilight ends, A gallant heart and the voice of friends.

WELL, THE DOCTOR FILLED IN A LOT OF THE INFORMATIONWE WERE LACKING ABOUT NORMAN'S LIVER DISEASE (and still she does not have all the information that she requested from the doctor that took care of him in January, when this episode began.. but, she has again requested it, and is very concerned!) I think once she has this all done, she will be able to better help Norman. She is also finally sending him to a specialist there at the Veterans Hospital (and will let us know when his appointment will be) HE HAS NAFLD CIRRHOSIS ... (non alcoholic liver disease)

Today, part of his test came back good, but some came back BAD also.. She told him "I would hate to be in your shoes, because I know you have to be feeling really bad on a daily basis, and it's been months now." She did once again change some of his medicines, and hopefully these will make him feel better, and prescribed him three more (that will not effect the liver, thankfully) So, hopefully LORD'S WILLING, he will soon be feeling better We were there a long time today.. beginning with blood work, and testing.. then his doctors appointment.. and a wait for his prescriptions.. and then another wait to see his diabetic doctor. BUT, I think finally they will all work together to help him as much as possible! THANK YOU GOD!!! AND THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once we finally got home, we crashed for a little while! ====================
After a sleepless night, and then getting up around 6.. dressing and taking that longgggg trip to Salem.. fighting the forever changing weather today.. Sitting there at the hospital a good while.. Then finally we ate at IHOPS on our way home.. We were "TUCKERED!" And did we ever appreciate our precious nap on the reclining love sofa (*.*) (*.*)
ABIGAIL CALLED ME THIS EARLY EVENING.. THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY CAMPING AT DOUTHAT "GOD BLESS AND TAKE CARE OF THEM PLEASE"

When preparing for work, a woman will put on a Mondi wool suit, then slip on Reebok sneakers. She will carry her dress shoes in a plastic bag from Saks When a woman gets to work, she will put on her dress shoes. Five minutes later, she will kick them off because her feet are under the desk. A man will wear the same pair of shoes all day, every day, 365 days a year...unless he goes golfing.
