ANIMALS, MOST ARE A BLESSING

"Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but gets you nowhere." (this cat looks like "Miss Pretty, aka Snookie, aka Sushi" Mom's cat, which now lives with us.. has for about 14 months.. "we are taking good care of her for Mom" ... Love ya Mom!... thanks Frances (my Sister of the heart) for most of tonight's blog... I'm sharing it!! Love ya!

Matthew 6:25-34 New International Version (NIV) Do Not Worry 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your lifea]'>[a]? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

If I Didn't Have A Dog...Or Cat...... I could walk barefoot around the yard in safety.

My house could be carpeted instead of tiled and
laminated. All flat surfaces, clothing, furniture, and cars would
be hair-free.
When the doorbell rings, my home wouldn't sound
like a kennel.
When the doorbell rings, I could get to the door without wading through all the fuzzy bodies who beat me there. I could sit on the couch and my bed any way I wanted, without having to take into consideration how much space several fur bodies need to get comfortable.
I would have enough money, and no guilt, to go on a real vacation. I would not be on a first-name basis with 6 veterinarians, as I put their yet unborn grandkids through college.
The most used words in my vocabulary would not be: "out," "sit," "down", "come," "no," "stay," and "leave it ALONE.
My house would not be cordoned off into zones with baby gates and makeshift barriers.
I would not talk 'baby talk'. 'Eat your din din'. 'Yummy yummy for the tummy'.. My house would not look like a day care center, with toys everywhere.

My pockets would not contain things like poop bags, treats and an extra leash.
I would no longer have to spell the words B-A-L-L, W-A-L-K, T-R-E-A-T, O-U-T, G-O, R-I-D-E, S-U-P-P-E-R, And C-O-O-K-I-E. I would not have as many leaves INSIDE my house as outside.

I would not look strangely at people who think having ONE dog/cat ties them down too much.
I'd look forward to spring and the rainy season instead of dreading them as 'mud' season. I would not have to answer the question: 'Why do you
have so many animals?' from people who will never know the joy of being loved unconditionally by the closest thing to an angel they will ever encounter. How EMPTY my life would be! All Things Bright And Beautiful - YouTube

Well, tomorrow I work again cooking for the kids from Head Start.. It usually is a 4 hour day, but sometimes a little longer (if they don't get the trays back to me in time, or IF they don't pick up their meal when they are supposed to) But, it's not a bad day at all.. rather quiet! QUIET, don't mean that I don't stay busy, not at all.. tomorrow I plan on trying my best to get the ovens cleaned on JW side and getting up some Valentine decorations for the kids.. I'm thankful for the extra day! (even though I am like everyone else, sometimes a day off would be nice.. but I'll be off on Sat. & Sun... But back at school to watch THE RED HOTS play another volley ball game.. "YOU GO GIRLS, DO YOUR BEST, AND ENJOY YOURSELVES!"

THANKFULLY MY HUSBAND IS FEELING A LITTLE BETTER.. HE ISN'T COUGHING NEAR AS MUCH, COLOR IS BETTER, BREATHING IS BETTER AND NO FEVER! SO, LORD WILLING HE'LL BE BACK TO HIMSELF SOON!! I AM GOING TO GET THE LAUNDRY OUT OF THE WASHER, INTO THE DRYER AND KICK BACK WITH HIM A LITTLE WHILE.. BEFORE I START GETTING THINGS DONE, AND READY FOR ANOTHER DAY!
