GOD'S "TIME"..

Though even thinking on the subject of time may prove discomforting, it is not a bad idea – especially at the beginning of a new year. As we look into 2011 we look at a block of time. We see 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days, or 8,760 hours, 525,600 minutes, 31,536,000 seconds. And all is a gift from God. We have done nothing to deserve it, earn it, or purchase it. Like the air we breathe, time comes to us as a part of life. The gift of time is not ours alone. It is given equally to each person. Rich and poor, educated and ignorant, strong and weak – every man, woman and child has the same 1440 minutes every day. Another important thing about time is that you cannot stop it. There is no way to slow it down, turn it off, or adjust it. Time marches on.
And you cannot bring back time. Once it is gone, it is gone. Yesterday is lost forever. If yesterday is lost, tomorrow is uncertain. We may look ahead at a full year’s block of time, but we really have no guarantee that we will experience any of it. Obviously, time is one of our most precious possessions. We can waste it. We can worry over it. We can spend it on ourselves. Or, as good stewards, we can invest it in the kingdom of God. The new year is full of time. As the seconds tick away, will you be tossing time out the window, or will you make every minute count? WOW, AND JUST THINK ABOUT IT.. 10 MORE DAYS IS THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING.. TIME IS FLYING, FOR SURE.. I HAVE SEEN SOME ROBINS THIS PAST WEEK, AND SOME TREES BUDDING AND THE WILLOW TREES REALLY STARTING TO 'COME OUT' .. THE FORSYTHIA AND THE QUINCE ARE BLOOMING TOO.. GOD IS SO GOOD.. THE "NEW LIFE" OF SPRING IS ALWAYS A SPECIAL TIME.. I HOPE IT IS FOR YOU ALSO!

We were busy some outside today, felt so good being outside.. We got the last of the snow signs and snow flakes taken down and put away today.. yes, I know it may still snow.. but "I'm not looking forward to it!" But, God knows what is best, so if it does, then we will just be thankful and deal with it!.. We were trying to get a few extra things done since Norman starts his job again on Monday.. "THANK YOU GOD!" ... We are asking for prayer for our "unspoken" request.. and in turn, we will be praying for you and yours and your "unspoken request".. Matthew 18:19 & 20 ... "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven." AGAIN, JUST A REMINDER.. SET THOSE CLOCKS FORWARD ONE HOUR! GEE, FOR US IT WILL FEEL LIKE TWO HOURS ON MONDAY MORNING BECAUSE HE STARTS WORK ON MONDAY (which means already that we get up an hour earlier..) THEN THIS SETS EVERY ONES TIME UP ONE HOUR.. SO ... BUT, IT'S OKAY. LOL. WE WILL JUST TAKE US A LITTLE NAP CUDDLED ON THE LOVE SOFA MONDAY EVENING "LORD'S WILLING" SO, WITH GRATITUDE WE WILL GET UP EARLIER AND BE GRATEFUL THAT HE GOT HIS JOB.. (*.*)

It dawned on me this evening something that I forgot to do on Friday at work.. I forgot to lay my Mondays supplies out of the freezer and into the walk in.. (*.*) geez.. But, I'll just have to deal with it.. It will all be fine!!
