OH, ANOTHER MONDAY!! HOPE YOURS WAS WONDERFUL!

                                                             God’s Days
There are two days in the week upon which and about which I never worry — two carefree days kept sacredly free from fear and apprehension. One of these days is Yesterday. Yesterday, with its cares and fret and pains and aches, all its faults, its mistakes and blunders, has passed forever beyond my recall. It was mine; it is God’s. The other day that I do not worry about is Tomorrow. Tomorrow, with all its possible adversities, its burdens, its perils, its large promise and performance, its failures and mistakes, is as far beyond my mastery as its dead sister, Yesterday. Tomorrow is God’s day; it will be mine.There is left, then, for myself but one day in the week – Today. Any man can fight the battles of today. Any woman can carry the burdens of just one day; any man can resist the temptation of today. It is only when we willfully add the burden of these two awful eternities – Yesterday and Tomorrow – such burdens as only the Mighty God can sustain – that we break down. It isn’t the experience of Today that drives men mad. It is the remorse of what happened Yesterday and fear of what Tomorrow might bring. These are God’s Days … Leave them to Him. Author Unknown

BOY, I DON'T KNOW IF YOU GOT THIS RAIN OR NOT.. FIRST LOTS AND LOTS OF THUNDER AND LIGHTENING!!! THEN IT POURED THE RAIN.. "RAINED CATS AND DOGS" FOR A GOOD LITTLE WHILE.. THEN FINALLY IT WAS A NICE GENTLE RAIN.. WHEW! WHAT A SHOWER!!

SPEAKING OF "CATS" MY POOR LITTLE PETITE CAT "MISSY" WAS ATTACKED BY SOMETHING.. (hopefully it was only another cat) BUT SHE ENDED UP WITH SOME TERRIBLE BITE MARKS (actually 3 punctures) ON HER NOSE.. A PLACE ON HER HEAD, ONE ON HER NECK AND THEN ONE ON HER LEFT FOREARM OR FORELEG.. LOL POOR THING, I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO FEEL SORRY FOR HER.. I CALLED THE VET TODAY AND THEY ARE GOING TO WORK HER IN THIS WEEK. ACTUALLY I AM GOING TO TAKE ALL THREE OF THEM AND GET NEW RABIES SHOTS (for just in case!) SEEMS LIKE IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING.. "WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS" LOL

 Between the animals, Norman and myself.. (*.*) .... When I got off this afternoon, I ran another of Norman's meds over to Walmart to be filled.. Picked up antibiotics for my tooth (that I am 'hopefully' getting pulled on Thursday) Came on home and got a message from the "foot doctor" they changed my appointment from June 14 to next Wednesday the 30th..  Always something!

WHEN NORMAN CAME HOME THIS EVENING, LATE AGAIN.. (as usual) HE STOPPED BY TO LOOK AT THE GARDEN (it was plowed today) HE SAID THE MAN DID A TERRIFIC JOB WITH IT THIS YEAR.. I AM GLAD!  BUT THEN ALL THIS RAIN WILL PACK IT DOWN AGAIN.. SO IT WILL HAVE TO BE TILLED AGAIN BEFORE WE CAN PLANT IT ONCE IT DRIES..  WE ATE SUPPER AND KICKED BACK FOR THE EVENING, AFTER SHARING THE NEWSPAPER AND SOME CONVERSATION.. BUT THEN, HE GOT CALLED BACK INTO WORK.. THOSE ELEVATORS!! (*.*) HARD TO TELL WHAT TIME HE WILL EVER MAKE IT BACK HOME! "GOD BLESS!"
