It's Scarecrow Time...

 Well folks, seems like the wind has been over doing it lately! Geez... I just can't seem to keep my "straw" in place.. lol (or as Abigail, my youngest grand- daughter would say .. the wind is strong enough to blow my weave off) Ya gotta love that kid, she's one of a kind for sure.. And like most kids her age is just so full of life and loving it (as we should all do) Anyhow, I'm here to tell you that I deeply appreciate life and all that God has giving our family.. Thank You so much Heavenly Father! Always!
          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just love scarecrows in the autumn.. just like I love snowmen (with carrot noses) in the winter.. and manger scenes and  elves at Christmas time ... guess it brings out the "kid" in me and my heart! God bless! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 My husband and oldest son have been working 10 hour days lately, and both are appreciating the work soo much. Norman came home the other day saying that they had a really nice day.. mainly just the two of them working together, and having some time alone to work and talk, and enjoy each others company... Thanks God!
There are some things about Autumn, or Fall that you just have to enjoy. There are more things for the young ones to do now days.. like the Pumpkin Patches.. Corn Maze's.. and for those who likes them the Haunted Houses.. IF they had those things when I was a kid, or even when my kids were little, I didn't know about them.
 Before I go any further, I just wanted to tell you all that you are all in our prayers, and on our minds! We love and appreciate each of you. And we ask that you all please keep each other in your prayers and always the unspoken prayers of everyone.. Sometimes, you just don't feel like the words will come.. But HE has that covered also...Romans 8:26
 Now a "Scarecrow snack for you"
Let set for about an hour and you have some yummy Haystacks to enjoy!!!
Add a Candy Corn Pumpkin for more fun!
And one more little recipe that some call Haystack Cookies.. well we all know that Scarecrows have "hay" as hair, suffin and such.. So I thought if you don't have this one, you may like it as well.. We all really like this one! NO BAKE OATMEAL COOKIES or HAYSTACK COOKIES??
