READY TO GIVE THANKS?

READY TO GIVE THANKS?
SHOULD BE AN EVERY DAY EVENT..
AND FOR US WE DO, MANY TIMES PER DAY!
Many blessings arrive
with the cool November winds,
reminding us to be thankful
for the love of our family and friends.
When autumn leaves

cover the ground,
and the first snow flakes
tumble silently down,
much warmth can be found
when we gather at the table
on Thanksgiving day
to pass the love around.
And I hope that this

Thanksgiving Day
fills your heart
in a special way
that words can't express...
to bring you much hope
and happiness.

If the Pilgrims were alive today,what would they be most famous for?
Their AGE!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why should you keep your eye off the turkey dressing?
Because it makes him blush!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why do turkeys always go "gobble, gobble"?
Because they never learned good table manners!
If April showers bring May flowers what do May flowers bring?
Pilgrims!

What happened to the Pilgrim who was shot at by an Indian?
He had an arrow escape.

fast pace day at work today...
(*.*)
but then I am off for the next 4 days!
THAT IS SOMETHING TO BE THANKFUL FOR
(*.*)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
after I got off today, we went and struggled
through Walmarts, not only getting our
groceries, but getting for at Mom's house too!
And we found out that 2 large buggies of groceries,
will fit (however tight) in the little black car (*.*)
WOW, THAT PLACE WAS A MAD HOUSE!
getting done with that was another great reason
to be thankful! ; }
Mom was feeling pretty rough again today!
She just seems to have very few 'good days' or even
good hours anymore : (
"GOD BLESS AND COMFORT PLEASE!"
Jenna and I went ahead and made the mac. salad for tomorrow
(our family hopefully, will have dinner at Mom's tomorrow),
Jenna, Cassie and her family, Jim, John, Joni, hopefully
Ashley will be there.. Frances and Jake are going to stop by
(but not to eat, they said).. don't know who else at this point..
I don't mean to leave anyone out.. sorry if I have.
Anyway, we are taking a 22 pound turkey, rolls, stuffing, gravy,
soda's, hot spice apple cider, and a broccoli/cauliflower/cheese dish..
Jenna is baking a ham, a cornbread pudding casserole,
green beans, and a veggie plate..
John is making some kind of cranberry relish, and something else?
Norman and Leisa are bringing potato salad
Cassie is bringing desserts..
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING ELSE TO REALLY BE
THANKFUL FOR, DON'T IT? (*.*)
Asked to write a composition entitled,
"What I'm thankful for on Thanksgiving," a student wrote,
"I am thankful that I'm not a turkey."
