Homer got a good bath, flea treatment, and a short hair cut today. He should be a lot cooler. I got mine cut really short last Thursday, but couldn't get his appointment until today. Thankfully it's done, and the cats got flea treatments too.. But, you know they will be right back out rolling in the grass (*.*) It's a loosing battle I think! But hopefully not! Homer is precious with his long hair, but he's just as precious with his short hair, and has to be much cooler (I know I am)

Four children leaped from the vehicle and began feverishly unloading gear and setting up the tent. The boys rushed to gather firewood, while the girls and their mother set up the camp stove and cooking utensils. A nearby camper marveled to the youngsters' father, "That, sir, is some display of teamwork."The father replied, "I have a system -- no one goes to the bathroom until the camp is set up."

Speaking of camping, please pray that we will have really good weather during my one week vacation (we are going camping) Also, I have some related "unspoken request" for our family during that week and appreciate the extra prayers. Norman has been having a time with his sugar. It was almost 300 yesterday when he got up.. and it just goes up (even when he's not eating, even when he is resting.. seems so much more than food related) I know it keeps him tired, and unbalanced too. But thankfully he goes to the doctor on Thursday this week, Lord willing!
There again, a unspoken but sooooo necessary prayer request. Thanks again!
