The man whispered, "God, speak to me."
And a humming bird "hummed by". But the man did not hear.
So the man yelled "God, speak to me!"
And the thunder & lightning rolled across the sky. But the man did not listen.
The man looked around and said, "God, let me see you."
And the stars shined brightly. But the man did not see.
And, the man shouted, "God, show me a miracle."
And a life was born. But the man did not notice.
So, the man cried out in despair, "Touch me, God,and let me know you are here."
Where upon, God reached down and touched the man.
But the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on.
This is a great reminder that God is always around us in the little and simple things that we take for granted...even in our electronic age.

And I wanted to share a few God moments from our vacation with you...

And I wanted to share a few God moments from our vacation with you...
GOD IS ALWAYS SHARING HIS WONDERFUL LOVE AND JOY WITH US, AND WE ARE TO PASS IT ON...
We felt God in the rain shower on Monday (that we prayed that wouldn't happen) It rained soo hard! And did slow us down a little.. so we could and would all arrive pretty much together (And the garden was surely blessed with His awesome watering) We felt God in the love and helping kindness of the ways we all pitched in and helped each other get everything set up and in place. We felt God in Jenna being so kind in the Many things she helped with (and Jenna, YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT) "and we are praying for your EXTRA BLESSINGS" .. And we felt God each time she went over (in the mornings especially) and brought us a cup of delicious hot coffee) "ah, only a coffee drinker would or could fully understand" LOL We felt God, and His presence, in the beautiful little hummingbirds that were trying their humble best to eat from the little red flickering lanterns that Norman and Leisa had strung around their awning.
We felt God in the sweet, gentle kindness and quietness of the four little dogs we had with us. So loving and kind to all. We felt God in the children, not always seeing eye to eye, but yet compromising, playing, swimming, kayaking, riding bikes, watching movies, eating, and not arguing even once during vacation..
We felt God in the family He put between Jenna's campsite and ours (even though we really wanted one connecting) But still the family He placed there were people that both Norman's knew, and all were kind and friendly and we shared many conversations, not to mention veggies with them and more.. We felt God in all the health and safety He provided each of us. And with Abigail trying so hard to keep busy and work and play through the earache she was fighting (but thankfully has cleared completely up) We felt God there in the deer that jumped right near us and ran away..(even if for just a brief second that it did scare Leisa) They were beautiful! And for the one that stood looking and watching us, while we were watching it.. YouTube - As The Deer
We felt God when Abigail saw the big dipper while camping and we all ran out into the empty field to see it and all the other beautiful stars (on our third night).. And again the next night (our fourth and last night) that Abigail and her Daddy ran out in the field with her computer to look at the stars, laying flat on their backs at times, and at other times used the computer to help locate and name the beautiful stars they were looking at. We felt God for all the veggies that we ran home and got from our garden to eat and share.. (but do wish the deer and groundhogs and maybe either rabbit or tarpon would stay out of it) God could handle that too, but maybe He wants His animals to eat too.. ??

They had a great time (I think) and may suggest this or that, but actually ask for nothing or at least very little..
We felt God in the love and attention from our animals when we got home, they were so happy to have us home.. just as it should be

I felt God's love when I got the two pictures of two of our beautiful, loving and smart grand daughters today... Thanks to Lily and Chris.. We love all of you!!
