Wow, these Yellow and red roses reminds me LOVINGLY of MOM AND DAD

I miss them both so much.. but someday I'll see them again (*.*)
=======================================================
Norman has been working really hard around here lately cleaning out the one refrigerator.. And then he has been running a new electric wire (straight to the box) for my Microwave.. Crazy thing, in order to use it (this whole summer) we've had to first turn off the air conditioner LOL

THANK YOU BABE! I DEEPLY APPRECIATE ALL YOUR EFFORTS!! Funny thing is that Homer and the cats stay right with him.. except for when he goes under the house.. then they stand at the openings and "Look in"

Gee, you wouldn't believe how long and hard I worked on re-painting a little toy bus (to use as a decoration for school) Whew, I am pooped out! It is WAYYYYY harder to re-paint something than it is to take a new object/ceramic whatever and just paint it straight out.. This one is plastic, and had been outside for a good while also (*.*) "what was I thinking?" And I will add a special thanks to my sweet husband for spraying it to begin with.. (after I had washed and scrubbed it) Then the yellow coat ... only thing is any mistakes seemed impossible to repair! And believe me, I make plenty mistakes.. (I am really out of practice painting anymore) But, anyway.... LOL you can tell it's a school bus LOL!!!

====================================

Then, I got on the computer in my dear Printmaster and made a WELCOME BACK sign to put up for the kids also.. (they usually enjoy the decorations) "makes you feel like your efforts are a little appreciated anyway" One thing for sure .. the welcome back sign is a "one of a kind" LOL

Tomorrow is my last day of this job.. then Monday I am back to my other New/Old job and it will be nice seeing everyone.. I sure hope they get the air conditioner fixed!! It's HOT!

We are down exactly to one week before school starts next Wednesday.. But I will see all of our co-workers this coming Monday.... "God Bless!"

SPEAKING OF PAINTING.. (gee, makes me look smarter) LOL

A blonde who had been unemployed for several months got a job with Public Works. She was to paint lines down the center of a rural road. The supervisor told her that she was on probation and that she must stay at or above the set average of 2 miles per day to remain employed. The blonde agreed to the conditions and started right away. The supervisor, checking up at the end of the day, found that the blonde had completed 4 miles on her first day, double the average! "Great," he told her, "I think you're really going to work out." The next day, however, he was disappointed to find that the blonde only accomplished 2 miles. The supervisor thought, "Well, she's still at the average, and I don't want to discourage her. I'll just keep quiet." On the third day, the blonde only did one mile and the boss thought, "I need to talk to her before this gets any worse." The boss pulled the new employee in and said, "You were doing so great. The first day you did 4 miles, the second day 2 miles, but yesterday you only did one mile. Why? Is there a problem? An injury, equipment failure? What's keeping you from meeting the 2-mile minimum?" The blonde replied, "Well, each day I keep getting farther and farther away from the bucket."
