WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT???

OH MY, JUST WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT A MAIL BOX AND SOME TIME WOULD MAKE A LITTLE GIRL SOOOO HAPPY???

There was a black plastic official size mailbox out here in our side yard.. we had thought at one time of using it, but then the metal one won over!.. Abigail decided it would be soo fun to have her own mailbox (on our property, not out at the road) .. So, she talked "Granddaddy" to go out and help her put it up today.. When I came in I gathered a card and a little book about Angels and snuck it up there and put it in the mailbox and (in reverse, put the flag up to show she had mail).. She was sooo happy! And thought she could go back many times and I would have more and more up there... Well...
I did get on the computer and made her some mail.. I wrote her a letter from (Head-start) as if she was enrolling her "babies" in head-start.. Part of the enrollment (without thinking) I added she would need their birth certificates.. (more paper work and another letter with birth certificates for her doll babies) I WILL PUT THREE MORE LETTERS IN THE BOX IN THE MORNING ON MY WAY TO WORK. (She keeps Granddad company while I work) And her excitement has my mind thinking of more things for "HER MAILBOX" .... REMINDS ME OF A LITTLE STORY I READ... (I'll explain how I personally mean it in a moment)

(IN PART) It was talking about an eight year old and her eleven year old sister..
Seems the 8 year old was having a mental breakdown.. (we call them fits or tantrums) ... And her sister got really annoyed and said.. "you are acting like a six year old!" then the little girl spoke up and replied "Well, I'm im-maturing"

(My thoughts).... A LOT OF TIMES, WHEN I AM AROUND CHILDREN,
ESPECIALLY MY GRANDCHILDREN... (my body may still feel "my age")
BUT IN MY MIND.... " I'M IM-MATURING" ... Just enjoying them being children and the simple HAPPINESS they find.. even in the little things!!!
THANK YOU GOD FOR GRANDCHILDREN.. AND THE LOVE AND EXCITEMENT OF ALL CHILDREN.. NO WONDER YOU SAID, "LET THE LITTLE CHILDREN COME TO ME, AND DO NOT HINDER THEM, FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN BELONGS OT SUCH AS THESE" MATT: 19- 14

IN OTHER WORDS... "THEY MAKE ME FEEL YOUNG AGAIN" guess that is why I started babysitting when I was 10 years old (for people in our church) and continued for many, many years.. then many years later I ran a day care for nearly 11 years.. and once again am working for kids (*.*)

HE GOES ON TO SAY IN MATTHEW 18: 10 SEE THAT YOU DO NOT LOOK DOWN ON ONE OF THESE LITTLE ONES. FOR I TELL YOU THAT THEIR ANGELS IN HEAVEN ALWAYS SEE THE FACE OF MY FATHER IN HEAVEN.

HA, NOW BACK TO THE MAILBOX... I COULD GET A LOT OF ENJOYMENT OUT OF A MAILBOX FULL OF THIS KIND OF "MAIL" .... BECAUSE OF THE NEXT KIND OF MAILBOX ... BILLS! .. BELIEVE ME, IT'S NOT FOR THE "LOVE OF MONEY" LOL

NOW DAYS, SEEMS LIKE OUR MAILBOX LOOKS MORE LIKE THIS ONE (*.*)

BUT GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL, THANKFULLY!!! WHICH ALSO BRINGS TO MIND.. WASN'T THE "WATERING RAIN" WE GOT FROM HEAVEN NICE THIS MORNING ON THE GARDENS? THANK YOU GOD, YOU ARE REALLY AWESOME!
