TOMORROW IS THE DAY : ) HOPE YOUR THANKSGIVING IS WONDERFUL!
Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings each morning, thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf. Even though I keep my eyes tightly closed against the morning light as long as possible, thank you Lord, that I can see. There are many who are blind. Even though I huddle in my bed and put off the effort of rising, thank you, Lord that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden. Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned, and tempers are short, thank you, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely. Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced, thank you, Lord for the food we have. There are many who have no job. Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest, thank you, Lord, for the gift of life. © Author Unknown Happy Thanksgiving!
===========================================WHEW, GLAD THIS WORK WEEK IS OVER FOR US.. IT'S BEEN A HARD COUPLE OF WEEKS AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL AFTER THE CHRISTMAS BREAK.. SEEMS LIKE EVERY WEEK THEY JUST GET A LITTLE LOUDER AND MORE EXCITED : ) BUT, YA GOTTA LOVE THEM FOR ALL THEIR EXCITEMENT AND EXPECTATIONS : ) AND I AM GLAD TO SAY THAT THE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ARE ALL UP ON JW SIDE... AND WE ONLY HAVE 15 DAYS TO ENJOY THEM "AT SCHOOL" UNTIL THE CHRISTMAS BREAK! MY HUSBAND IS OFF FOR THANKSGIVING, BUT THEN HAS TO WORK ON FRIDAY.. (BOTH OF US ARE STILL VERY THANKFUL FOR OUR JOBS and will do what we are ask and then some.. AND WE ARE THANKFUL FOR OUR INSURANCE.. took me years to get it for the two of us... THANKS GOD! CHRIS IS COMING UP IN THE MORNING TO HUNT A LITTLE.. NORMAN JR SAYS HE JUST DON'T FEEL MUCH LIKE CLIMBING AROUND OUT ON THE HILLS AND SUCH.. BUT IT WILL BE GREAT FOR CHRIS TO BE THERE. AND WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THEM COMING UP ON FRIDAY EVENING FOR DINNER (WE CALL SUPPER, LOL)
NORMAN CAME HOME AFTER WORK TODAY (SEEMS LIKE A LITTLE EARLY (~.*) AND WE KICKED BACK ON THE WONDERFUL OLE DOUBLE RECLINER LOVE SOFA AND NAPPED FOR JUST A BIT... THEN WE GOT UP AND READY AND WENT TO WALMARTS FOR THE REST OF OUR GROCERIES FOR THANKSGIVING AND FRIDAY.. AND ATE AT MAMA'S PIZZA, YUM!! THANKS BABE : )I'VE BEEN WORKING SOME TOO ON THE GIFTS FOR HIS CHRISTMAS PARTY AT THE RETIREMENT HOME.. ABIGAIL IS PLANNING ON HELPING AND EVEN THOUGHT OF SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR US TO DO.. (in order to give out another gift).. SHE SAID, GRANDMA, A LOT OF THESE OLE FOLKS WONT HAVE MUCH OF A CHRISTMAS, SO WE'VE GOT TO DO ALL WE CAN AND TRY TO GIVE THEM A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER. .... "NO WONDER GOD LOVES CHILDREN!"
