EVER STUMBLED?

Today I stumbled and once again Was lifted up by an unseen hand.What comfort and joy that knowledge brings. For I hear the whisper of angel wings. The guardian angels God sends to all To bear us up when we stumble and fall. Trust Him, my friend, and often you'll hear The whisper of angel wings hovering near.

Well, I went today after work and got things to make a few more gifts for the Retirement Home "dirty Santa" game... guess we'll need about 25 little gifts for that alone.. for these 3 I have three little (maybe quart size) clear vases, that are a little smaller just above the middle then widen out again at the top.. I got scented pine cones and potpourri to go into it, a thin lacy material (circle) to go on the top down most of the way and tied with a pretty ribbon with candy canes where the smallest part of the vase is.. I hope they will like them?? I know they are nothing fancy, but they should add a good "Christmas like aroma" to their apartments.. and it's the thought that counts.. I really hope and pray that that day or evening, will be a happy, love filled time for the "residents"

And speaking of candy canes, I ran by and got 22 or 23 boxes of candy canes to give out to the kids at school on their last day.. two of the ladies and myself are going 'parts' on them.. sort of our gifts to the kids ... "God bless each of them"

And I got a couple packs of snowflakes to go out in the yard here.. over cute little yard signs.. One is a snowman with arrows pointing here and there just below him.. and the other is a snowman with Let it snow over it.. So, in the little bushes near them, I put snowflakes (*.*) "something different"

And I got two red sparklie bows to put around the two deer's necks as you come down into our driveway (near Abigail's mailbox) .. we also have a large plastic Santa up there, and two a small elves (about half the size of Santa) up there (one holds a candy cane) so I put 6 large candy canes around them, and on the tree were her mailbox is, a sign that sparkles and is shaped like HO, HO, HO on the mailbox.. and greenery and candy canes around the tree that her mailbox in mounted on.. so I am done up there... but still not even started in the house, other than to move a few things around to "get ready to start" (*.*) LOL So, once I get my Nativity set put up in my living room, and his Christmas tree and a few other things... I'll be saying "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" LOL

I talked to Jenna this evening.. looks like we will 'hopefully' get together over the Christmas break.. a few of us and have a covered dish dinner and just enjoy each others company.. that will be nice.. no presents involved only each others "presence", and no stress!!! An, sweet inner peace, love and kindness.

And, we are still trying to get a suitable date to have that party at the Retirement Home.. just to get "our friends" there that are going to sing, and lead some Christmas Carols... One has to have surgery soon, so keep her in your prayers.. her name is Brenda.."God bless" and thank you Brenda for your willingness to help out.. and thanks to the other two also!!
