Believing in People

A wealthy businessman in a small town had signs printed and placed all over the town. They stated that if any person in the town who owed debts, would come to his office on a certain day between nine and twelve in the morning, he would pay those debts. Naturally, that promise was the talk of the town. But very few believed it. They thought there was a catch somewhere. The day came. The business man sat in his office at nine. By ten,no one had come. At eleven, a man was seen walking up and down outside, occasionally looking up at the office door. Finally he seemed to take courage and open it. He put his head in and asked, "Is it true that you will pay any person's debt?" "That's right," the rich man replied. "Are you in debt?" "I certainly am," the caller answered. "Do you have along the bills and statements to prove it?" The visitor produced the documents and the business man wrote out a check covering all of them. Before twelve o'clock, two other men came and had their debts paid. People outside could not believe it. But now there was no time left to have their bills paid.

WHO WOULD HAVE FIGURED IT?? NORMAN HAD TO GO IN AND WORK FOR FOUR HOURS THIS MORNING.. "TRYING TO MAKE UP FOR THE TIME HE MISSED GETTING HIS TRUCK, AND THEN GOING TO THE DOCTOR" ... SPEAKING OF WHICH.. HE STILL HAS NOT HEARD A WORD FROM THE DOCTORS OFFICE ABOUT HIS TEST... "UGGG"

ANYHOW, I GOT UP WITH HIM, "OF COURSE, I ALWAYS DO!".. HE LEFT FOR WORK NORMAL TIME, AND I WAITED AROUND UNTIL 8:15 AND HEADED BACK DOWN TO THE SCHOOL

WHERE I WORK TO WATCH THE "RED HOTS" (Abigail's Volley Ball Team) IN THEIR FIRST SET OF SCRIMMAGES TODAY.. THEY ARE GETTING BETTER.. BUT THEN ALL THE GIRLS (BOTH TEAMS) ARE IMPROVING FROM LAST YEAR.. BIGGER/ MORE EXPERIENCED AND STRONGER.. THEIR GAMES STARTS THIS UPCOMING SATURDAY, I THINK ... WAY TO GO GIRLS!!

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT I WOULD HAVE BEEN BACK THERE ON A SATURDAY... "MY DAY OFF" ... LOL THEN I MET NORMAN WHEN HE GOT OFF AND WE HAD LUNCH TOGETHER.. WENT TO ONE STORE THEN WENT ON HOME, AND KICKED BACK FOR JUST A LITTLE WHILE

NORMAN, LEISA AND THE KIDS ASK US TO MEET THEM LATER FOR SUPPER.. SO WE RAN ON HOME (MAINLY SINCE WE HAD BOTH VEHICLES.. AND WENT BACK DOWN IN ONLY ONE... APPLEBEES, HERE WE COME!
I HAD AN ORIENTAL SALAD, WITH CHOPPED UP FRIED CHICKEN ON TOP.. IT WAS REALLY GOOD, AND DIFFERENT... I THINK IT'S SOMETHING THAT I WILL MAKE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.. YUMMM

WE RAN OVER TO WALMARTS WHEN WE WERE DONE, (ABIGAIL WITH US FOR THE EVENING AND NIGHT) ... HAD TO GET A FEW GROCERIES AND FIXINS' FOR NATHAN'S BANANA PUDDING HE ASK ME TO MAKE HIM FOR TOMORROW.. WE ALL CURLED UP AND WENT TO SLEEP ON THE LOVE SOFA AFTER A MOVIE WHEN WE GOT HOME.. HA, I WOKE UP FIRST AND COULDN'T HARDLY WALK ... LOL... WELL, FINALLY WE ALL MADE IT TO BED, THANKFULLY AND RIGHT BACK TO SLEEP..
