Just thinking...

ISN’T IT STRANGE? Isn’t it strange how a $100 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to the church, but such a small amount when you go shopping? Isn’t it strange how endless an hour seems when we are serving God, but how short it is when we watch a Football game for 60 minutes? Isn’t it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you’re at the church and how short they seem when you’re watching a good movie? Isn’t it strange that you can’t find things to say when you’re praying, but you have no trouble on thinking what to talk about with a friend? Isn’t it strange how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of the Bible but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel? Isn’t it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games, but they do whatever is possible to sit at the last row in the church? Isn’t it strange how we need to know about an event for the church 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events in the last minute? Isn’t it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others, but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip? Isn’t it strange how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say, but we question the words in the Bible? Isn’t it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don’t want to believe, do, or say anything to get there? Isn’t it strange how we send jokes in e-mails and they are fowarded right away, but when we are going to send messages about God, we think about it twice before we share it with others?

NORMAN WAS OFF TODAY, SO HE GOT UP (with running of his own to do) AND DROPPED ME OFF AT WORK (on his way) .. HE DID END UP GETTING CALLED IN FOR ABOUT TWO HOURS (good thing it wasn't time for me to be getting off, when they called him, lol)

we ran and got some rabbit food and timothy hay for them.. they went by Schewels and picked out and ordered a shelf for our living room (to go where the Christmas tree had been) I have an antique one that went there, but we put it in the hall way through Christmas, and I decided that I really like it there.. So, we decided to get this one to put in that space.. I have angels to go on it. Thanks babe, it was exactly what I was looking for.. "Thanks God" ===============================================

SO WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE SNOW TODAY? I HAVE TO ADMIT, IT'S PRETTY COMING DOWN.. BUT UGGG, (MAKES ME FEEL OLD, LOL, I LOVED THE SNOW WHEN I WAS MUCH YOUNGER! NORMAN DID TOO.. BUT WE NO LONGER DO) I DID HEAR A COUPLE OF TEACHERS SAY TODAY THAT THEY PRAYED FOR SNOW SO SCHOOL WOULD HAVE DELAYED STARTING FOR ANOTHER DAY.. LOL ... IT ONLY DELAYS IT, SO WHY BOTHER?? HA I WAS ONLY WORRIED ABOUT THE NORMAL TRUCK COMING TODAY AND MY SORE BACK FROM HELPING PUT ALL THOSE SUPPLIES AWAY AT WORK.. BUT WHEN WE GOT THERE WE WERE TOLD THAT THERE WOULDN'T BE A TRUCK DELIVERY TODAY.. BUT WATCH OUT FOR NEXT MONDAY.. SO HOPEFULLY I'LL HAVE WORKED THE SORENESS OUT BY THEN .. THANKS GOD! WELL, SPEAKING OF GETTING OLD.. "ENJOY"

An old snake goes to see his Doctor. "Doc, I need something for my eyes, I can't see very well these days." The Doc fixes him up with a pair of glasses and tells him to return in 2 weeks. The snake comes back in 2 weeks and tells the doctor he's very depressed. Doc says, "What's the problem? Didn't the glasses help you?" "The glasses are fine doc, but I just discovered I've been living with a water hose the past 2 years!"
