WE ALL WENT TODAY FOR A MEETING FOR WORK.. HAD TO RIDE TO EAGLE ROCK.. IT WAS NICE SEEING EVERYONE AND THE MEETING WAS NECESSARY TO HELP WITH THE CHANGING "PAPER WORK"
SEE YA MONDAY LADIES.. to put the supplies away and finish getting things ready.. TUESDAY, I WORK FOR HEAD START my last day for this summer.. THEN WEDNESDAY SCHOOL STARTS "GOD BLESS" ....
WOW, WERE HAS THE SUMMER GONE??? seems like the kids gets out of school just long enough to outgrow everything they had from the previous year.. lol.. all part of growing up I suppose (*.*) I remember these days from my three sons as well! "MEMORIES OLD AND NEW" LOL

AFTERWARDS, I HAD TO RUN TO WALMARTS (terrible habit) FOR SOMETHING FOR SUPPER TONIGHT, AND MORE CEREAL AND MILK FOR THE KIDS AND NORMAN, OH, AND A BUNCH OF BANANAS, YUM! (gee, EVERYTHING just KEEPS ON GOING UP! on my way home, I realized I should have got some gas (*.*) ... ever done that?) TO LATE NOW, NEXT TIME I GO DOWN, I WON'T HAVE A CHOICE! LOL

THEN I PICKED THE KIDS UP AND HEADED HOME. HOMERJOE HAS A THING ABOUT THE KIDS COMING HOME WITH ME. THEY HIDE WHEN WE GET THERE... HE RUNS OUT AND LOOKS FOR THEM! BOY WHEN HE FINDS THEM (AND HE ALWAYS DOES) HE ACTS LIKE A HAPPY AND EXCITED LITTLE PUPPY... JUST SO CUTE. ----------------------------------------------------------------
NORMAN CALLED (when he got off from work today, I still hadn't even picked the kids up quite yet) HE WAS ON HIS WAY HOME AFTER STOPPING BY TO GET A FEW MORE MATERIALS FOR THE BANTAM CHICKEN PEN WE ARE BUILDING NOW.. we feel like we have to go super strong with the pens up here.. for the animal's protection AND WE SURELY DO.. I HAD OUR SUPPER DONE ONCE HE GOT HERE..

THEN THE SEVEN OF US GOT BUSY FEEDING THE ANIMALS, ABIGAIL GATHERED THE 11 EGGS FROM TODAY, WHILE THE REST OF US WERE WORKING SO HARD ON THE PEN. THEN SHE WALKED OUT TO TAKE "ROSIE" (her little doll, "daughter") to the Kimberlin Park (in our yard, lol) TO SWING.. sometimes she reads to her or Joe, whatever.. lol... I CALL IT PRACTICING TO BE A GOOD MOTHER TO HER FUTURE CHILDREN, LOL... NATHAN AND I WERE TACKING UP THE BOTTOM 3 FEET OF "SMALL" WIRE FENCE ON THE PEN, ALONG WITH HELPING NORMAN FROM TIME TO TIME WITH THE FRAMING OF THE OTHER 
PART OF THE PARK.. (thankfully he is about finished with that part of it) IN THE MORNING, I PLAN ON GETTING OUT THERE AND PAINTING AS FAR AS I CAN STRETCH THE PAINT ON THE SMALL COOP (as soon as it's warm enough, LOL).. THE COOP FOR THE LARGE CHICKENS IS ALREADY PAINTED, THANKFULLY.. they are about this shade of red.. I like it for that, looks sort of like barn red (*.*) ! SEVEN YOU ASK.. HA... THE FOUR OF US, HOMERJOE, AND BOTH CATS.. THEY ARE ALL SO INTO WHAT WE ARE DOING THAT IF WE GO OUT.. HERE THEY ARE RIGHT THERE WITH US..
BUSY, BUSY, BUSY.. BUT WHEN YOU HAVE ANIMALS AND CARE ABOUT THEM.. THERE IS ALWAYS SO MUCH TO DO!
DON'T YOU THINK THE WEATHER IS BEGINNING TO CHANGE ALREADY. I ALWAYS SAY "YOU KNOW IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL TO START WHEN THE MORNING AND EVENINGS ARE COOLER" I THOUGHT IT WAS RIGHT DOWN CHILLY THE OTHER MORNING, HOW ABOUT YOU?

DID YOUR LIGHTS GO OUT FOR JUST A LITTLE WHILE LAST NIGHT? IT HAD GONE OUT A FEW "FLICKERING TIMES" EARLIER IN THE EVENING, BUT THEN BANG, IT WAS DARK! AND WHILE IT WAS OUT.. ABIGAIL CAME TO ME.. "GRANDMA, YOU KNOW WHEN I STARTED HELPING YOU NAIL ON THE PEN?" YES .... "WELL, I LEFT MY ROSIE OUT BY THE SWING SET, AND JUST FORGOT UNTIL NOW.." so we got a flash light and went out and got her.. this is Rosie and Joe.. Mom actually gave her Joe.. both are real old, and both are very precious (thankfully) to her. anyway, as we were walking back in, we passed right under the dusk to dawn light .. when it is dark, without the dusk to dawn light, it is DARK up here.. anyway, Abigail looked up and ask "how is the kitchen light on? .. Ha, they had came back on while we were out.. we passed right under that light and didn't even notice that it was on!
