THIS IS THE SHOWER CURTAIN AND THE REASON BEHIND ALL OF OUR CHOICES! GUESS YOU COULD EITHER CALL IT "COUNTRY" OR "REDNECK" LOL
AND THIS IS OUR SHOWER.. 5 FEET WIDE AND 3 FEET DEEP
(see the caddy hook in the middle of the back wall.. it's the forks of a tree)
this is a large puzzle that we found (like 20 x 26) but it just had to be made for our bathroom (as a picture, behind glass with a frame of old boards)
here, our water fountain.. with the same tile behind as we have above the shower.. beside it is a bird's nest that Norman brought in from his building (where a real little bird had made, and hatched it's eggs from this summer)
Norman's country towel bar (*.*) I am sure I will find and place the perfect bird off on the side where it droops downward!
and this yet another place to hang bath towels.. and one on the other side just the opposite! Above the shelves you'll see part of the "limb trim around the ceiling"
and this picture shows the old boards behind the mirror and the birdhouse hanging on the wall also.. here he also made the hook for the birdhouse out of a tree fork
below is the lantern we put together and he hung from a small tree branch that reaches to the floor (at an angle) check out the purple orb ??? "go figure!"
this as you can see is over the shelf .. but see the old boards and then the tree limbs he has going this way and that?? also.. (on the shelf) the "Johnnie house" it was given to Norman years ago by my Mom as a joke!
again, the lantern (but turned off) these little flying geese were given to me by Myrtle Wallace when I was about 8 years old (and my Mom kept them and a big cookie jar Pig that Myrtle had given me until I was grown and settled, the Pig, I finally took after she passed away.. she wrote down for me to get it especially since it was already mine) "SWEET MEMORIES, OF TWO DEAR LADIES.. MY MOM AND MRS WALLACE!
THIS HANGS ABOVE THE SINK ON SOME OF THOSE OLD BOARDS... WE THOUGHT IT TO BE A HUMOROUS LITTLE SIGN AND THE BEAR FITS PERFECTLY... (THESE BOARDS WERE NEVER PAINTED.. THEY JUST SHOW NATURAL COLORS)
====================
THIS BEAR WAS FROM WHEN CHRIS LEE (OUR OLDEST SON) WAS REALLY YOUNG.. MAYBE 2 OR SO.. (birds I made and painted many years ago, again plaster of paris)
AND THIS AGAIN THE BIRDHOUSE.. IT'S MADE OF SMALL BRANCHES (BUT WE DIDN'T MAKE IT) HOWEVER HE DID MAKE THE HOOK AND MANY YEARS AGO, I MADE THE TWO BIRDS OUT OF PLASTER OF PARIS..LOL
YES, I KNOW IT'S A DOOR.. BUT JUST WANTED TO SHARE THE LIMBS AND SUCH THAT NORMAN PLACED HERE AND THERE ... THE GLOVE WITH THE BIRD ON IT WAS FROM FRANCES YEARS AGO AND IT SAYS "CHEAP RENT" BELOW A MORE CLOSE UP OF IT! THANKS FRANCES!! LOVE YOU AND CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR AND JAKE'S WONDERFUL NEWS... AH, JUST WHAT I WAS PRAYING FOR! THANKS GOD!
PRAYING FOR YOU AND YOURS THAT GOD WILL BLESS YOU SPIRITUALLY, PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY, FINANCIALLY AND WITH HIS LOVE, GRACE, MERCIES AND GUIDANCE, ALONG WITH INNER PEACE AND HAPPINESS!
