GRANDMA'S WISDOM
I've traveled paths you've yet to walk Learned lessons old and new And now this wisdom of my life I'm blessed to share with you Let kindness spread like sunshine Embrace those who are sad Respect their dignity, give them joy And leave them feeling glad Forgive those who might hurt you And though you have your pride Listen closely to their viewpoint Try to see the other side Walk softly when you're angry Try not to take offense Invoke your sense of humor Laughter's power is immense! Express what you are feeling Your beliefs you should uphold Don't shy away from what is right Be courageous and be bold Keep hope right in your pocket It will guide you day by day Take it out when it is needed When it's near, you'll find a way Remember friends and family Of which you are a precious part Love deeply and love truly Give freely from your heart The world is far from perfect There's conflict and there's strife But you still can make a difference By how you live your life And so I'm very blessed to know The wonders you will do Because you are my family And I LOVE and BELIEVE IN YOU 
seems funny being with any of the grand kids this morning.. they both went home yesterday to spend time with their parents, and to go do a little "school shopping!" Nathan wasn't to excited about the shopping (he don't like to shop and neither does his Mom) But on the other hand, Abigail has been wanting to get her school supplies every since they have been in the paper.. she likes to shop more like her Dad.. or even to go and "look" ; )

I am on my usual chicken duty (feeding) this morning.. He kept only 5 BIG hens.. but he still has all those bannys.. we may thin them down some also.. especially since they added 29 (by hatching them out) this summer... and still we are wanting to give away ABOUT 12 OR MORE ROLLER PIGEONS! KNOW ANYONE THAT WANTS ANY? TELL THEM TO CALL US AT 747-3015 ... THEY ARE FREE! ====================================================
AND PRAYING FOR NORMAN'S BLOOD WORK THIS MORNING.. (it is to clear him to go back on one of his sugar pills that he had to stay off of due to his CT scan on Friday)
PRAYING FOR JAKE AS HE IS PREPARING FOR A STEM CELL TRANSPLANT TO BE HAPPENING SOON..(that it will help him beat this old nasty ole cancer) AND PRAYING FOR LITTLE EVAN AND ALL THE CHILDREN WITH E.B AND ALL OTHER ILLNESSES, AND THEIR FAMILIES.. GOD BLESS EACH OF THEM PLEASE, AND GRANT THEM ALL INNER PEACE AND COMFORT... PRAYING FOR NORMAN'S MOM, CELIA TERRY (as she recuperates from her last hip replacement) AND PRAYING FOR EVERYONE WITH CANCER AND ALL TYPES OF ILLNESSES, (and their families, it seems to effect the whole family) God bless!

WELL, NORMAN IS WORKING BY NOW (after stopping for blood work on his way) HE HAS WORKED PRETTY GOOD THIS SUMMER, AND SEEMS TO ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS ANYONE CAN ENJOY WORK.. LOL ... THANKS BABE, THANKS GOD.. AND GOD BLESS AND GUIDE PLEASE.. I LIKE HIM WORKING SINCE THE DOCTOR SAYS HE NEEDS TO STAY BUSY (for his health, and to keep him as strong and healthy as possible) Love ya Babe ; )
AND FOR ME, I AM GOING TO START PAINTING ON SOME OF OUR DOORS THIS MORNING.. ABIGAIL'S NEW BI FOLD DOOR, AND THE NEW DOORS WE PUT IN THE HOUSE A COUPLE YEARS AGO.. THEY ARE ALL WHITE, AND WE BOUGHT A "SPICY" LOOKING COLOR CALLED "AUTUMN'S TURNED LEAVES" I THINK WE WILL LIKE THIS COLOR, FOR A CHANGE..

PRAYING FOR OUR FAMILY, EXTENDED FAMILIES, FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS, THAT GOD WILL WRAP HIS LOVING ARMS AROUND EACH OF US AND BLESS US SPIRITUALLY, PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY, FINANCIALLY, AND WITH HIS LOVE, GRACE, MERCIES, GUIDANCE, AND A SPECIAL BLESSING FOR EACH OF YOU THAT ONLY "HE KNOWS YOU NEED".. PRAYING FOR OUR COUNTRY AND ITS LEADERS (~_~) THAT THEY WILL FINALLY DO WHAT IS BEST FOR OUR COUNTRY AND THE PEOPLE OF OUR COUNTRY, AND HOPEFULLY TURN BACK TO GOD.
