DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THE PURRING OF A CAT? THEY JUST SOUND SO PEACEFUL, TRUSTING, LOVING AND RELAXED.. I USED TO THINK THAT THERE WAS JUST NOTHING LIKE IT AND PERHAPS THE ONLY THING BETTER WAS A SLEEPING BABIES LITTLE SOUNDS...
BUT, STILL TO BE HONEST,
I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT AS
HAVING HEALING POWERS..
YET AT THE SAME TIME, I HAVE THOUGHT MANY TIMES THAT "LOVE" PROBABLY HAS HEALING POWERS, THINK SO?
THIS ALL SEEMS LIKE A LOGICAL THING TO THINK >>>

WELL, BELIEVE IT OR NOT.. OUR SWEET HOMER JOE PURRS! HE WILL SIT BESIDE ME AND (ON HIS BACK LEGS) WHEN I ASK "HOMER ARE YOU BY BIG BOY"... THEN I WAS AMAZED AT THE NOISE HE STARTED MAKING.. (WE HADN'T NOTICED BEFORE..) BUT I ASK HIM ONE TIME, HOMER ARE YOU PURRING? AND HE JUST KEPT DOING IT.. ALL THE TIME, HE SEEMS SO CALM AND HAPPY.. AND I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS HEARD HIM DOING THIS.. BUT IT'S JUST SO SWEET OF HIM, AND HE'S SOO SPECIAL!
HE'S OUR "HOMERJOE" AND WE LOVE HIM!

PRAYING FOR LITTLE EVAN AS HE CONTINUES TO BATTLE WITH E.B. (boy it has been a tough battle, and he handles it like a little man.. but it's got to be hard) Please God, heal him and the other children with this terrible disease. Help them to live pain free and normal lives, they have all been through soo much! Comfort them and their families, and grant them Your sweet inner peace as only You can give. Thank You in Jesus loving and holy name, amen. AND PLEASE BE WITH JAKE AS HE CONTINUES TO STRUGGLE WITH CANCER.. and all the others that have cancer.. it too a painful and fatal disease.. Please Father, be with each of them and let them feel Your love and healing powers and also grant them and their families comfort and inner peace. Thank You God for Your Unfailing love. Please Father, be with our family, extended families, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Bless each of us SPIRITUALLY, PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY, FINANCIALLY AND WITH YOUR PEACE, GRACE, LOVE, GUIDANCE, MERCIES, AND A SPECIAL BLESSING THAT ONLY YOU KNOW THAT WE NEED. Please Father, be with the kids, teachers, and all the leaders and such as the kids start back to school tomorrow. Help us all to act and respond the way that YOU would have us to. Be with our country's leaders and guide them closer to You so that they will finally work together and do what's best for our country and the people here. Be with the other nations and help the innocent, and protect them please. Father, please be with our soldiers and service people, protect each of them, guide them and help them all to be someone for the kids to "look up to, with respect and trust" Grant them and their families comfort, and inner peace.
