WOW, ITS FRIDAY AGAIN.. THE WEEKS ARE FLYING BY... SCARY!!!

AS OF TODAY, I THINK I am now officially Ms Poly Minwax (semi gloss)... ugggg... I have been fooling with that stuff all day long.. and a longggggg day at that!
Polyurethane that is.. It don't smell to bad.. then again, I have problems smelling and maybe it's something to be grateful for.. especially since at times I have one of two reactions to some things.. like fresh cut hay (and sometimes mowed grass) and smoke of any kind, but leaves bother me the most.. I either start coughing and sneezing or my head feels like it will burst! OLD AGE, I KNOW IT IS (~_~) ... LOL

SOMETIMES, DO YOU EVER JUST SIT AND TAKE TIME TO THINK OF ALL THE WONDERFUL BLESSINGS IN YOUR LIFE?
JUST LOOK AROUND AT OTHERS, NO! NOT OUT OF ENVY OR GREED OR FOR JUDGING THEM.. BUT AT PERHAPS THE TRIALS THEY ARE GOING THROUGH.. PRAYING FOR THEM, YOU CAN'T HELP BUT TO BE GRATEFUL FOR YOUR OWN LIVES AND PERHAPS SMALLER TRIALS, OR TRIALS OF A DIFFERENT TYPE.. THAT IS WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT FOR US TO JUST KEEP PRAYING FOR EACH OTHER, OUT OF LOVE AND TRUE CONCERN.  GIVING THANKS FOR ALL THE THINGS LARGE OR SMALL AND SOMETIMES EVEN THE THINGS THAT WE DON'T HAVE.. AND PRAISING GOD FOR  ALL THINGS.. HE LIKES HEARING OUR THANKS, OUR HONOR OF HIM AND OUR PRAISE!

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. – Psalm 34:19 It’s often so easy to look around at the messy world we live in and wonder, “Is this really God’s plan?” This is especially true during trying times. It’s so hard to understand why God’s plan for us involves hardship. But one day he’ll reveal his plan to us…
CHECK OUT THE STORY I READ THE OTHER DAY.. I ENJOYED IT, HOPE YOU DO TOO
When I was a little boy, my mother used to embroider a great deal. I would sit at her knee and look up from the floor and ask what she was doing. She informed me that she was embroidering. As from the underside I watched her work within the boundaries of the little round hoop that she held in her hand, I complained to her that it sure looked messy from where I sat. She would smile at me, look down and gently say, “Son, you go about your playing for a while, and when I am finished with my embroidering, I will put you on my knee and let you see it from my side.” I would wonder why she was using some dark threads along with the bright ones and why they seemed so jumbled from my view. A few minutes would pass and then I would hear Mother’s voice say, “Son, come and sit on my knee.” This I did only to be surprised and thrilled to see a beautiful flower or a sunset. I could not believe it, because from underneath it looked so messy. Then Mother would say to me, “My son, from underneath it did look messy and jumbled, but you did not realize that there was a pre-drawn plan on the top. It was a design. I was only following it. Now look at it from my side and you will see what I was doing.” Many times through the years I have looked up to my Heavenly Father and said, “Father, what are You doing?” He has answered, “I am embroidering your life.” I say, “But it looks like a mess to me. It seems so jumbled. The threads seem so dark. Why can’t they all be bright?” The Father seems to tell me, “‘My child, you go about your business of doing My business, and one day I will bring you to Heaven and put you on My knee and you will see the plan from My side.” - Author Unknown

THIS BIBLE VERSE WE USED TO SAY AT CHURCH AS A BENEDICTION AS WE WERE CLOSING.. FOLLOWED BY THE LORD'S PRAYER MOST OF THE TIME.. IT WAS TAKEN FROM GENESIS 31:49.... "MAY THE LORD WATCH BETWEEN YOU AND ME WHEN WE ARE ABSENT ONE FROM THE OTHER."  (think about it.. it's really deep and covers EVERYTHING!)
