Nice little rain, several times today! Don't mind when it rains like that! Great for the gardens, and the flowers too.. (~_*) grass loves it too (perhaps to much) lol.

Old Feathers, new life
Recently I was really blessed when someone passed on to me several feathers that they were ready to discard for various reasons.. They were a little frayed, they were "notched out" the quills were cracked, etc. The person was going to throw them away when I ask "why"...The response was interesting; "I can't use them any more," I did not question the judgement, but took the feathers and worked on them, did some preening, some steaming, some grafting, 
and after a while they were like new.. alive again. "Useful" yet again. The whole thing was great because it gave to

me new insight into how we view our relationships with family, friends, our tribe, ect. If it's a little frayed, or rough around the edges, we seem to want to discard them. However, like the old feathers, those friends and family and connection to the tribe are great gifts... they may need preening, fixing, a little work, a little prayer, but they can be made new again. In fact, they must be made new again, because what makes us who we are is our connectedness, our relations to others and the  Creator, and His creations. Those feathers now find themselves living again through prayer and ceremonies, just think of what renewed relations could do for the people. (by Mitakuye Oyasin)

Oh, Great Spirit
Whose voice I hear in the winds,

PRAYING THAT WE WILL REACH OUT WITH COMPASSION AND HUMAN RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER. It seems that a lot of people treat their "friends" and "family" with even less respect than they will a total stranger? WE SHOULD TREAT EACH OTHER, AND EVERYONE WITH RESPECT. "RESPECT FOR THE LIFE HE SAW FIT TO GIVE THEM" WITHOUT QUESTION AND WITHOUT FAIL, NO MATTER OF THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN, OR HOW THEY LIVE.. WE ARE ALL HIS CHILDREN, AND THE SAME ON THE INSIDE. "NO ONE KNOWS COMPLETELY HOW THE OTHERS LIVE.. SO WHY NOT TRY TO SHOW SOME LOVE, RESPECT AND COMPASSION?" EVEN IF WE MAY NOT AGREE COMPLETELY WITH THEM, FOR WHATEVER REASON.. WE ARE NOT THE JUDGE OF OTHERS.

Praying for you and yours that God will bless each of you with His love, and bless you spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, and with His grace, forgiveness, guidance, mercies and sweet inner peace. Praying that He will bless each of you with a special answer to a deep down "unspoken prayer request" He knows them all! Praying for those that are sick, the hurting, the abused, the grieving, the jobless, that He will answer your need in a special way that only HE knows need done, or can even provide.
Praying for my sister Jenna, that her meds will quickly kick in and the pain be gone, and the healing be done.  Praying for our soldiers, that they will be safe from harm, both here in our country, and in other lands as well. Praying for the families that just lost their loved ones due to one man's illness or treason? that He will grant them inner peace and comfort. Praying for our county, that we the people will all turn back to Him, before it's to late. Bless us please Lord, show us the way, lead, guide, and direct the leaders back to You and to do what You would have done. AND GIVING YOU MY LOVE, THANKS, HONOR, PRAISE AND GLORY IN ALL THINGS IN JESUS HOLY NAME, AMEN.
