MEMORIES OF KICKING BACK AFTER A HARD DAY OF WORK

WHEW!
Boy, it's hard to believe that it's only Tuesday!
I have been working 'like a dog' and I am ready to kick back!
I used to like to lay with the sun shinning through the bedroom window and feel the heat of it while I rested or even slept! Ah, it was so relaxing, I loved it.. Guess I'm part cat, they like to sleep in the sun also. Seems sometimes like we live backwards, maybe we should work on the weekends and be off all week ; ) but that wouldn't work and us be able to go to church on Sundays , and I hope not to have to miss that! But it was fun thinking about it while it lasted! No, I'm not really lazy, just tired sometimes, and it takes me weeks to get used to the time change. Keeps me tired at first somehow, especially the time change in the springtime. How about you?
I heard something hopeful about my second Son 'J.D.' , but I don't want to spoil his surprise for anyone! I hope and pray that it comes true, and is something he'll be happy with, for many, many years to come. It will be an answered prayer for him. Good luck Son, we love you so!
And good luck Norman for tomorrow! Hope things happen the way 'you want'.
Boy, the closer that spring time gets, the more I look forward to it! Except for the fact that I only have now about 3 months to work at the school before the summer break. Don't get me wrong, it would be wonderful if our pay was salary for 12 months.. but it's not. And looks doubtful to hear them talk if the two of us will get hired FULL TIME, any time soon. But we are both still praying for it, or another decent job, and we know that God knows things that they don't know (even with all their education, that they seem to think makes them MASTERS) and He can make things happen, that even they cannot control! We both trust in HIM, thankfully!
We just have to keep praying and have faith.
Here is a cute little 'chuckle for you' hope you enjoy it!
Stop Talking Right Now!Sister Margaret had spent weeks preparing the first grade children for their first Communion, stressing the solemnity and importance of this sacrament.Much to her chagrin, during Mass on the big day, one boy in the front row was talking and giggling nonstop. Finally, unable to put up with it any longer, she whispered to the lad seated next to her, "Please go up there and tell that one he's done enough talking and had better stop, right now!"Without question, the boy rose and walked to the front... and delivered Sister Margaret's message to the surprised priest in the middle of his sermon!
Dear God, we thank You for Your awesome love for us, and for Jesus and all that He did for us. Father, we know we are unable to repay for any of it and that it is by Your grace, so again, we are grateful. Thank You for my husband, our family, our extended families, our church families (both old and new) our neighbors, friends and co-workers. Bless each of us please spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially, and help us to live for You and to share Your Love with others. Please be with two of my sisters and my brother and help the physically and grant them inner peace and hold them in Your healing arms. Father, please also ease Mom's breathing and dull her pain, and block Gene's swelling please. Today and always, we give You our sincere thanks, our love, honor, and praise in Jesus holy name, amen.
If you would like to post a comment on this or any post on my blog, please feel free to do so. I'd love to hear from you. God's blessings to you and yours.
