OH THE THRILLS OF BEING 'THE EASTER BUNNY'
WHERE'S THE HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT?
THIS SEEMS TO HAPPEN EVERY YEAR, I THINK I'LL HAVE ENOUGH HELP
THEN I HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE HELP I HIRE...
(nothing wrong with having a little clean fun! enjoy!)
What do you call ten rabbits marching backwards?A receding hareline.
What did the rabbit say to the carrot? It's been nice gnawing at you.
How many chocolate bunnies can you put into an empty Easter basket? One. After that the basket won't be empty.
Why did the rabbit cross the road, Because the chicken had his Easter eggs.
ALL I EVER NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE
I LEARNED FROM THE EASTER BUNNY
Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.
Walk softly and carry a big carrot.
Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.
There’s no such thing as too much candy.
All work and no play can make you a basket case.
Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.
Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.
Some body parts should be floppy.
Keep your paws off other people’s jellybeans.
Good things come in small sugar-coated packages.
The grass is always greener in someone else’s basket, but the candy is no sweeter.
An Easter bonnet can tame even the wildest hare.
To show your true colors – you have to come out of your shell.
The best things in life are still sweet and gooey. Author Unknown
CHOCOLATE COVERED PEANUT BUTTER AND COCONUT EGGS
Ingredients (makes 30 of each)
2 pounds confectioners' sugar
1/4 pound margarine, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
12 ounces peanut butter
1 pound flaked coconut
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, margarine, cream cheese and vanilla extract. Divide the batter in half and place each half of the batter in a bowl on its own. Stir peanut butter into one of the bowls and coconut into the second.
Using your hands, mold the dough into egg-shapes and arrange the forms on cookie sheets. Place the eggs in the freezer until frozen.
Once the eggs have frozen, melt the chocolate and shortening in the top of a double-boiler. Dip the eggs into the chocolate until coated. Place the eggs on wax paper lined cookie sheets and return to the freezer to harden. After the chocolate has hardened the eggs can be kept in the refrigerator.
