Remembering the days of SINGING IN THE RAIN!

SINGING IN THE RAIN
We were all singing in the rain this evening. NJ, LA, "Nate" and 'Abby" were all singing along with the KIMBERLIN band (on CD) coming home from Roanoke tonight. Thankfully the rain wasn't to hard, and even the fog wasn't bad at all. And NJ thankfully is a really good driver.
We were invited out for this evening with them to the Golden Coral for supper (to celebrate my birthday, and NJ and LA's ELEVENTH ANNIVERSARY (March 13th). THANKS TO EACH OF THEM, and thank You God for allowing such a love filled evening and the safety of going and coming. I hope and pray that we all had a great time, the company was precious as always, the supper was delicious and oh so filling, and the trip to Sam's was really nice too... and the company going and coming, listening and singing along with his CD was so nice too! They, (the band) did a great job! Then 'Nate' called us to make sure we made it home okay. He's a sweet fella. My favorite grandson! (my only grandson : } It has rained off and on all day, but not to hard, but now that we are home, it's pouring it down. Thanks God for holding off the heavy rain.
Thanks also to CL, Kim, K and A for the really neat Bible covers they got me for my birthday. We got two out of the gift certificate, and they came today... REALLY NICE! THANKS AGAIN.
They are a beautiful color of brown leather with the words.. "Amazing Grace The Lord has promised good t me, His word my hope secures: He will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures. " which is the third verse of AMAZING GRACE.
My morning started out really aggravating, I walked up the long driveway to the car to go to work, realized that I had forgotten my cell phone, so walked all the way back down and got it. Walked back up to the car, and WOW, to my surprise the car wouldn't start!!! So I tried tooting the horn, but didn't get Norman's attention, so I walked back down to the house and told him that it wouldn't start. (He got up and was putting on his shoes and such) so I walked back up to the car at the other end of the driveway to see if I could figure it out.. Yep, it's dead I thought!
So, he had to take me on to work. Then he ran be the garage that we bought the car from and told them to come get it and fix it! They did... said for some reason the battery was dead (well duh! I thought, I even figured that much) but they couldn't find out why! Anyway they put the battery on a powerful two hour charge, and it's back working. In the mean time, Norman had went back home, so they even brought a car to school for me (where I work) and left it so I would have it when I got off. (I was grateful for that). Hopefully the car will SOON GET STRAIGHTENED OUT! GEE, IT'S AGGRAVATING TO BUY A NEW CAR AND HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THIS, AND WE ARE STILL WAITING ON THE NEW ANTENNA. But they have been nice and so we have tried to be patient and just let them fix it. But thankfully, it ended up rather nice. THANK YOU GOD! PRAY FOR MY POOR CAR TO SOON BE FIXED AND HAVE NO MORE PROBLEMS, PLEASE, AND THANK YOU.
Great is the mercy of you oh God
I honor your presence in this sanctuary.
I will exalt and I'll lift Your name high,
allow your blessings to fall.
Lord fill this temple with mercy and love,
Allow it to flow freely here in my heart
My soul is thirsty for drops from you Lord,
Allow your blessings to fall on me.
From this time forth and forevermore
(I promise I'll) bless your name, oh.
From this time forth and forevermore
bless your name, oh God, oh God
Lord, shower blessings in this house,
let it rain on me.
Pour out Your spirit in this house,
let it rain on me.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us, and for Jesus and His great sacrifice. Thank You for forgiving and saving even me. Help me Father to be what You would have me to be. Lord, I pray for my Mom and Gene also for JW and JD (my brother and sister, they are both having some physical problems). Also I pray for the couple that just lost their little newborn daughter. God bless and comfort please. And I want to pray for Norman that he'll soon be well from his allergies. Thank You for my husband, our family, our extended family, our church family (both old and new) our friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Bless each of us spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially, and help us all to live pleasing to You and within Your will for us. Thank You holy Father for all You have done for us, are doing and will do in our behalf, and in all things we give You our thanks, love, honor, praise and glory in Jesus Holy name, amen.
