REMEMBERING HELPS!

It Helps To Remember That God Is In Charge Of My Day
Well friends, I hope your day was slower than mine. I pretty much went at a full run, (fast pace) all day long at work! Busy, busy, busy! Don't get me wrong, I am sooo thankful for my job! And I don't mind being busy at all, it makes the day go quicker... but this is insane! .. But, enough of that! Again, it helps to remember that God is in full control and still in charge thankfully!
I guess hard work doesn't hurt anyone! And again I'll say that I am fully grateful for my job (and still praying for full time, with benefits).

After work went really fast, but a lot more enjoyable. First we went to my son NJ and LA's house and talked with her and her sister about the flowers that I was ask to do for their niece and our nephew's wedding in June. Very pretty flowers, (they have chosen) I guess I'll get started on the first bouquet of six of them , and one boutonniers, and a pew bow really soon so they can tell me for sure if it suits them or make any changes before I finish the others. I really try to do my very best to please the bride and groom at each wedding I help with.
Then we went to CL and Kim's house and saw two of our LOVELY granddaughters, and delivered candy to them from LA and a few 'old' books. They love reading, but probably not quite as much as they do their horses. Anyway, it was nice seeing them and 'Kim', always is and always with such a warm greeting! Really nice hugs, and warm smiles!
Then we stopped by my Mothers house. Thankfully she was having a very good day today. She is a precious lady, and her and Gene are so good for each other. (and I'm glad) Of course while we were there she insisted that we stay for supper (I helped her prepare it), and it was good as always. (you know how delicious your own mothers cooking always is. My sister J.D. stayed too.. so good to see her also. Then J.D. and I cleaned the kitchen up before we left (as usual). I am glad for Mom to have the good days, and pray for more of them for her! Seems like they give her the strength to keep going! Thanks God! Keep her in your prayers if you will please and thanks.
And then thankfully a safe trip back home, ahhhhh! Feels good to be at home too. And we are thankful for our humble little home also. Part of the way it was soo foggy! The rain made it worse by far, and it's always dark coming up the road this direction.
Well, looks like the rain finally made it here.. so much for the driveway drying up! But, that is okay too, we are getting closer and closer to the good ole summertime. Thanks God!
There Shall Be Showers of Blessing
There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Saviour above.

Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:

Mercy drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.

There shall be showers of blessing,
If we but trust and obey;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
If we let God have His way.

Hey, a film crew was on location deep in the desert. One day an Old Indian went up to the director and said, "Tomorrow rain."The next day it rained.A week later, the Indian went up to the director and said, "Tomorrow storm."The next day there was a hailstorm."This Indian is incredible," said the director. He told his secretary to hire the Indian to predict the weather. However, after several successful predictions, the old Indian didn't show up for two weeks.Finally the director sent for him. "I have to shoot a big scene tomorrow," said the director, "and I'm depending on you. What will the weather be like?"The Indian shrugged his shoulders. "Don't know," he said. "Radio is broken." ; )
