BOY, DID I HEAR IT!

BOY DID I HEAR IT WHEN I GOT HOME!
This is our sweet little petite cat named Missy...
I have no clue what she was telling me when I got home, but she was surely trying to tell me something! Then she rubs her forehead on my face (her way of giving me loving) and went prancing outside! Aren't they precious? Guess she had to "get some things off her chest, before she could calm down enough to enjoy the evening". ; )
Was it warm enough for you this evening? I was tired, sleepy and 'warm' (but not HOT yet) I am not going to complain about the heat, after all the snow we had this winter. If I start complaining, just remind me! I am going to try to keep all that snow in my memory! I think it was enough snow to last most of us a lifetime. How about you?
Well, today was my first day back to work since last Thursday, and honestly, it wasn't to bad! Boy am I thankful for that, sure makes the day move along better. We were one short due to an illness, but we had our substitute lady come in, and I just love her to death. I worked with her last year (then she retired) but she is SO SWEET! Thanks God!
Norman also spent part of the day helping one of his friends today. The only thing he said about today though was that he was HOT! Medically it's good for him to be out and about some, so I am thankful for that, and it also does him good to be out and about some and talk to others. "Abby" will tell you that her granddad is a talker! She told him that he should work at Walmarts as a door greeter.. then she thought and said, no, that wouldn't work, no one would get any shopping done. Aren't grandkids wonderful... she also tells me that I am old as dirt : ) and that I am fluffy! Boy do I agree with that one too : ) She's precious, but then all of our grandchildren are absolutely precious!
Again, I'll ask for special prayer for my Mom. She goes tomorrow for a biopsy on her lower left lung.. they said that she has a mass with possibly fluid (or something) around it, and it looks possibly to be spreading.. they have to find out what it is before they know what to do to help her. I know she's frightened about it, especially since my dad passed away of asbestos in his lungs, and we watched him constantly going down hill with it! So please say an extra prayer for her. Her name is Betty!
Dear Lord, thank You for loving, forgiving, and saving us. Thank You also for making a way for us to spend eternity with You. Thank You for Jesus and His awesome sacrifice. Thank You for Norman, our family, our extended families, our church family, our friends, neighbors, and co-workers, and the inner peace and safety of each. Bless each of us please Father, spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially and help us to all live closer and closer to You and in Your will for our lives. Father, please be with our country and it's leaders, help them to turn to You and Your wisdom and power. Bless the soldiers and their families please and grant them inner peace, Your protection, and draw them closer to You. Thank You for all You have done, are doing and will do in our behalf, giving You our love, thanks, honor, praise and glory in Jesus Holy name we pray, amen.
