AH, COOL ENOUGH FOR A GOOD CUP OF COFFEE THIS EVENING,
WANT ONE?
Another busy day at work today, I guess all of them will be now until school is out. The kids are already, and seem to stay wound tight! : / And SO LOUD! To make it worse, a lot of them are also SO RUDE!!! It's shameful! And to think that they will be the adults as we all age ; {Lord help us all, PLEASE AND THANK YOU! But, it's a job, and I am sooo thankful for it, and we do really enjoy a lot of the kids, not all are rude, thankfully! And for me the best part of the job is that I am off every weekend (so it don't interfere with church), and every evening, and in the bad weather (without points against us, or penalties, especially since I live in the country) and even summers.. And still praying for Barb and I to get full time next year!
Share in our sincere request, please, and for God's blessings and His will in this matter.

Norman went to town with me this morning.. let me tell you (and you can laugh if you want to, we did) ... I had told him that the inspection sticker would run out 5/10 on 'the little black car' on Friday, the last day of April. So maybe he could run down with me (since I only was working for 3 hours today) and get the inspection sticker done, and get the tags for both of our vehicles... I mean it has to be done, so today seemed perfect, besides he had a few other things to do also. He dropped me off and went to the place to get the car inspected, waited 45 minutes! for them to tell him that this Friday is 4/10 not 5/10 and he might as well wait until the last of next month.... (Now to be perfectly honest, I realized my mistake just after he let me out at work, and I figured that he would too... but he mistakenly thought I knew what I was talking about) ; } He ought to know better after 40 years, shouldn't he?

After work, I had to run by Walmarts to pick up my prescription and a few groceries.. Then by the wonderful Good Will store and found a few books for the grand kids. Then we went by to check on my Mom, she's surely had a hard year and a half or two years. She is still having a lot of trouble breathing, real shortness of breath! (and I know how she feels after my illness last summer, so I really feel for her) To make matters worse, my Dad died of having asbestos in his lungs, and it too caused severe shortness of breath! And, Mom still hasn't found out about her lungs, or I should have said the results of the test they did on her lungs... Hopefully she'll find out soon, and I am hoping and praying that it will be nothing more than scar tissue, but, I think she's dreading finding out to be truthful! So, please keep her in your prayers also.

Church tonight was good, as usual. We (in part) watched an awesome little video (give it a try, it's nothing you think it would be) it is at www.messypreacher.com . His name is Ben Glen, and he does chalk pictures, really fast, and really good. He was at the teen gathering at the baptist church in Clifton Forge last Sunday. We are supposed to see another picture he drew this Sunday night before our Bible lesson starts. Give it a try! You'll never know until you do.
We had a preacher's wife at the church I went to many, many years ago that did the same thing.. she was pretty good, and she really put her heart into it, but this guy seems to make it look so easy! And he also seems to really know what he is talking about, thankfully.
Open heart, open mind..

If You Want Joy, Real Joy
If You Want Joy, Real Joy
If you want joy, real joy, wonderful joy
Let Jesus come into your heart
If you want joy, real joy, wonderful joy
Let Jesus come into your heart
Your sins He'll wash away
Your night He'll turn to day
Your life He'll make it over anew
If you want joy, real joy, wonderful joy
Let Jesus come into your heart
