WE WERE "ON THE ROAD AGAIN"

ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Wow, what a busy day. To begin with Norman, Jeff and Norman J. went to our older son's to help for a while. Norman left early, around 7:45 or so this morning. I didn't have to go in until 10:30 today. But I left early (around 9:30) so I could get the 'little black car' gassed up and ready for the trip after work. I was supposed to get off at 1:30 but my boss (thankfully) let me go at 1:15 today. I stopped by Chris' and picked him up near 1:30 and we 'were on the road again'. Tomorrow we can both work 'full days, thankfully'. But today we had to be in Salem at the Veteran's Hospital by three o'clock, Norman had to go see his diabetic N.P. ... They once again raised his insulin up by 4 more unites per day. Now he's on 7 diabetes pills per day and 24 units of insulin (plus his other meds). But they say, 'it's looking better'? Pray for him to get it under control, please and thank you. By the way, we made it with 6 minutes to spare!!!!!!
Thank You Lord!
And THANK YOU GOD FOR A SAFE TRIP OVER AND BACK.

My sister Jenna, just emailed me and told me how special she thinks our sons are..
I agree! ; ) They are loving and pretty awesome, not to mention smart, and handsom!
And I love them SO MUCH! But like I was telling her, she's really special,
loving and giving also!! I love her too!! A lot!!!

When I was going 'around the ridge' between where I work and where Chris and his lovely family lives, I saw the blue lights flashing. The poor SUV in front of me got stopped! Oh, but for the grace of God could have been me. So, from there on, I really watched my speed! I took it as a good warning! God help the SUV driver please! Those blue lights are something I don't want chasing me down! Please God, help my 'lead foot' to 'ease up, a lot' and thank You!

Speaking of driving...... > The Driver's License Photo!
Unfortunately, getting a new drivers license required a new photo.As I handed my eight-year-old permit and the new picture to the clerk, I sighed."I like the original better," I told her."Trust me," she said. "Eight years from now, you'll like this one."

It sure was a beautiful day to get out though!! Just seeing how much trees and bushes and even the grass has came to life, sure make ya feel really good! Warmer weather is coming and I am looking forward to it.. how about you? But, as I was reminded today, we only have aprox 5 weeks left to work this school year.. vacation is good, and I have PLENTY to do!! but I 'need' to work for the money. Some people 'live to work' and us simple people 'work to live', right?
It sure is beginning to cool off now though, a real 'nip' in the air! burrr!!!

Heavenly Sunshine
Heavenly sunshine, heavenly sunshine,
Flooding my soul with glory divine.
Heavenly sunshine, heavenly sunshine,
Hallelujah! Jesus is mine.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for these beautiful days. Help us to be quick to appreciate and slow to complain, and to give You our sincerest thanks, in all things! Thank You for Jesus, Your perfect love, Your grace and mercies, Your forgiveness, and for making a way for us to be saved and to spend eternity with You. Thank You for Norman, our family, our extended families, our church families, our friends, neighbors and co-workers. Bless each of us SPIRITUALLY, physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, and with inner peace and safety. Forgive us our daily sins, please and help us to be forgiving and loving towards others. Thank You Father in all things, and we give You our love, thanks, honor, praise and glory in Jesus Holy name, amen.
For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley.
When things go wrong, He'll make it right.
And the God of the good times, is still God in the bad times.
The God of the day, is still God in the night.
The God of the day, is still God in the night.
