HE WAS IN COVINGTON THIS MORNING,

HE WAS IN COVINGTON THIS MORNING, BUT LIVES IN MY HEART EVERY DAY!!! THANKFULLY!!!
HE ARRIVED THIS MORNING, WE HAD PRAYER; SPENT SOME TIME JUST TALKING, AND HE HELD ME FOR AWHILE BECAUSE I NEEDED HIS PRESENCE. THEN, HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO YOUR PLACE. I'M GLAD WE SERVE A RISEN SAVIOR.
The message He is carrying is very important and needs to go around. Walking with Jesus! Say a prayer, and then pass Him on to bless others. Our assignment is to love and spread the gospel throughout the world.
Oh God, please help all the unemployed, the hungry, the homeless, and all who suffer from some kind of disease, especially fear and hate.Thank You in Jesus name, amen.
Have you ever fell asleep praying.. Yes, I'll admit it, when the lights are off, and I am resting on my bed, that is where I can 'really' talk to Him. Now and then I fall asleep praying, or songs of praise running through my mind... But it's those very times that when I awake... I feel as if I have been asleep safely in His loving arms! And for that, I am grateful!! Have you done it? Such a terrific feeling, isn't it? I know He hears our every prayer, no matter where we are.
Worship service today was taken from Luke 24:13-35 read them ... but 'in short'
Speaking of Jesus walking with Cleopas and another man. They didn't know Him at this point, for one, they had just seen Him hand on the cross and die, then secondly, they heard of His empty tomb.. It goes on to say that he went into the city with them (at their invitation) There He sat at the table with them and broke bread and gave it to them, their eyes were opened and they knew Him and then He vanished.. Isn't it amazing that just like the picture where He stands at the door and knocks that He doesn't come in until invited.. He did the same while walking with these two men. God doesn't change, and that's my point... no matter how bad things get... just remember HE IS IN CONTROL! And for that, I am grateful!
