YEP, IT'S MONDAY!

Well, I was supposed to work for 3 hours today,
BUT, they called me in at 7:21 to be there at 8:00!
What's even more WEIRD, was that I made it on time!
But, if you live around close, (ha) that wasn't a jet plane you heard zooming by!!
Guess it was "MY LITTLE BLACK STREAK"
THANK YOU GOD for the SAFETY YOU PROVIDED! (Sorry about speeding)
As usual, it was a BUSY, BUSY DAY! But it sure makes the day go by quicker.
And, believe me, IT WILL BE ABOUT THE SAME TOMORROW.. "GOD'S WILLING"
and hopefully pass just as quickly!
But, soon (first part of June) I guess I'll be looking for a "summer job", any ideas?
I thought about trying to get on at a restaurant 15 miles further up the road (away from town),
but "oh, those turns are way worse from our house to the restaurant, than they are up to where we live" I don't do well with turns... as old as I am, I still tend to get car sick ; [
So, wish me luck finding just the right job! Again, "Lord's Willing"
June will be here before we know it, for sure.

Remember the saying : "IF THE LORD'S WILLING AND THE CREEK DON'T RISE"..
well, Sweet Sister Jane always added a little to it whenever she heard anyone say it.
"IF THE LORD IS WILLING, IT DON'T MATTER IF THE CREEK RISES OR NOT"
THINK ABOUT IT, SHE'S RIGHT! (OF COURSE) ... : )
very SMART LADY!

THERE'S HONEY IN THE ROCK (lyrics)
refrain:
There’s honey in the rock, for all God’s children,
Honey in the rock, honey in the rock.
There’s honey in the rock, for all God’s children,
Feed every child of God.

(I thought this was very 'fitting' for today, considering the picture)
Going To McDonalds!
When Stephanie was about five she and I were headed to McDonald's one day.
On the way we passed a terrible car accident.
Usually when we see something like that,
we would say a prayer for those who might be hurt.
So I pointed to the accident and said, "We should pray."
From the back seat I heard her heartfelt prayer:
"Please, God, don't let those cars block the entrance to McDonald's."
You never know what a child will come up with, do you?

The Lord's Prayer Words
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen
(Mat. 6.9–13; Luke 11.2–4) so important that HE told us twice!

2 Samuel 7:7 "...I commanded to feed my people"

I can't even begin to follow up with my own simple prayer today.
After the prayer that Our Lord Jesus gave as the perfect prayer..
Can you imagine when we actually get to see HIM face to face and walk and talk with Him?
