MEMORIES OF OUR OLD HOUSE

THIS WAS IN THE FRONT YARD AT OUR OLD HOUSE..
I LOVED THAT HOUSE, ACTUALLY, I GREW UP THERE!
SO IT WAS ESPECIALLY PRECIOUS TO ME, BUT TIME MOVES ON!
ONLY THE TREE EXISTS NOW WHERE THIS FLOWER BED WAS,
THEY DUG UP AND DESTROYED THE REST
GO FIGURE? OH WELL!
A property manager of an apartment complex was showing a unit to prospective tenants and asking the usual questions."Professionally employed?" he asked."We're a military family," the wife answered. "Children?" "Oh, yes, ages nine and twelve," she answered proudly. "Animals?" "Oh, no," she said earnestly. "They're very well behaved."

On my way home from work today, I loved seeing all the trees that are coming to life. That beautiful bright green! I love it! And the red bud are awesome.. Along my way there are places that have wild bluebells, and others have wild phlox, and right where our road begins, there is quince and wisteria.. BEAUTIFUL! .. AWESOME!
THANK YOU LORD!

Wow, last night I worked on wedding flowers (after church) until 9:30 - 10:00..
I got the bridal bouquet done, and her bunch to throw done all except for the ribbon, and I did her two floral arrangements for the bridal table, complete with ribbons and candles. I hope she likes all of them, (I emailed pictures to be emailed on to her) I love the colors and flowers she picked!
Tonight I have worked on more beads, (necklaces, earrings, and bracelets) I think I finished either 5 or 6 sets.. Some of the ladies at church wanted to see what all I have.. Someone that one of them knows bought a set (that I made) from my daughter in law (must have been, because I don't know the lady).. Anyway, she ask me if I had any more.. I told her yes, and some yet to make.. So, she and a few others wants to see them... So, I have been making up some of the pretty new things I had ordered. God Bless! Hope they like them! They are rather nice ladies.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today was one of those days at work. Busy right from the start.. But we did turn in our time sheets today. (we only get paid once a month, and weakly at that : - ) ha
I didn't get to see either of my grandchildren that go there today.. I was in the dish room when the oldest one came along, and serving on the other side when the youngest one came.. so I missed seeing her also.. Gee, that's the way it goes A LOT of days!
=======================
Thursday is Earth day everybody. WE SHOULD ALL APPRECIATE THIS GOOD EARTH,
FOR SURE! IT IS A GIFT FROM GOD! HE CREATED IT TOO! AWESOME, ISN'T HE?

HEART PRINTS
Whatever our hands touch-We leave fingerprints!
On walls, on furniture
On doorknobs, dishes, books.
There's no escape. As we touch we leave our identity.
Oh God, wherever I go today
Help me leave heart prints!
Heart prints of compassion
Of understanding and love.
Heart prints of kindness
And genuine concern.
May my heart touch a lonely neighbor
Or a runaway daughter
Or an anxious mother
Or perhaps an aged grandfather.
Lord, send me out today
To leave heart prints.
And if someone should say,
"I felt your touch,"
May that one sense YOUR LOVE
Touching through ME.
