28,800 EVERYDAY? WHAT? AND IT'S A GIFT!

To end one day and begin the next new day!
Every day is a gift from God!
God gives us 28,800 seconds per day
What are you going to do with yours?
Saying Your Prayers!A Sunday school teacher asked her pupils, "Now, children, do you all say your prayers at night?"A little girl answered, "My mommy says my prayers.""I see," said the teacher. "And what does your mother say?"The little girl replied,
"THANK GOD SHE'S IN BED!"

Let Me Run A Godly Race
Oh, let me run the race on wing-ed feet,
My arms outstretched and reaching for the prize,
With loving prayers for everyone I meet,
My eyes affixed on treasures in the skies.
Oh, let me soar above the evil world
On wings propelled by God's own strength and might,
And let me ever keep His flag unfurled
And waving brightly in His realm of light.
Oh, let me take His hand and walk the seas
Throughout the universe of space and time,
Expounding truth of God on bended knees,
Extolling wonders of His love divine.
Then when my mortal race at last is run,
Let Jesus smile and say, "My child, well done."

Count Your Blessings
When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed;
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done
Count your blessings; name them one by one.
Count your blessings; see what God hath done.
Count your blessings; name them one by one.
Count your many blessings; see what God hath done.
Are you ever burdened with load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings; evry doubt will fly
And you will be singing as the days go by.
When you look at others with their lands and gold,
Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold.
Count your many blessings; money cannot buy
Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high.
So amid the conflict, whether great or small,
Do not be conflict, God is over all.
Count your many blessings, angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

Don't you just love weekends, Sunday especially? I got lunch started (and into the oven) before we left for Sunday School and church today. God took care of it for us, while we were busy praising and worshipping Him. And, He cooked it just right : )
(we had pot roast, potatoes, carrots, spaghetti salad YUM, biscuits, and a pineapple upside down cake)
THANKS NORMAN, 'NATE' AND 'ABBY' FOR THE TIME YOU SPEND WITH US, WE LOVE EACH OF YOU AND WE APPRECIATE THE TIME WE HAVE TOGETHER. GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU!
Of course Sunday School and Worship service were awesome. 'Abby" came up last night so she could go with us. She likes it there too, and the people go out of their way to make you feel at home and welcome, and we are grateful. 'Abby' has a way with making friends with the adults as well as the children, and I am glad, it seems to come pretty easy for her. They all just smile at her and either hug her, say something to her or joke with her. Kid's like feeling welcome and loved, and not feeling just 'looked over'. So, both churches we have had her in are really making Jesus smile, as to how they treat the children. THAT IS A PLUS! And we like it also! We are back into going on Sunday morning for both services and Sunday night, then back on Wednesday nights, thankfully! We missed that when we moved. You know you can come in from work and be feeling pretty wiped out, and attend church and hey, you are UP again, and that's the way it should be. Don't you agree? So, we'll be going again here pretty soon now.
